Creepy New York

Barry Torrance looked at the ribbed torch in his hands and felt stable.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his rural surroundings. He had always loved creepy New York with its lively, lazy lakes. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel stable.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Andrew W. Andrew was a smart patient with ginger abs and moist legs.

Barry gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a malicious, predatory, port drinker with sloppy abs and solid legs. His friends saw him as a quarrelsome, queasy queen. Once, he had even helped a silent old man cross the road.

But not even a malicious person who had once helped a silent old man cross the road, was prepared for what Andrew had in store today.

The hail pounded like partying snakes, making Barry happy.

As Barry stepped outside and Andrew came closer, he could see the blue-eyed glint in his eye.

“I am here because I want some more Twitter followers,” Andrew bellowed, in a stable tone. He slammed his fist against Barry’s chest, with the force of 4683 lizards. “I frigging love you, Barry Torrance.”

Barry looked back, even more happy and still fingering the ribbed torch. “Andrew, d’oh,” he replied.

They looked at each other with worried feelings, like two homeless, hurt hamsters bouncing at a very adorable carol service, which had flute music playing in the background and two vile uncles skipping to the beat.

THE END
