In general..what others think of me is of no concern of mine…I’ve discovered that my path is not like anyone else — it is very diverse.
Just as you are! So checking in with your intuitive knowledge about who you are and what you really want is essential to let go of others opinions. Because then you’ll always have a connection with your very own truth!
Over the years I learned that I had to be me—no matter what others opinions were. LifeAMP wasn’t easy and the road was bumpy as hell. However, I gained some valuable life lessonsAMP by staying true to myself.
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.”— Albert Einstein
Of course there was the issue of self-esteem— it is just that – esteem of the yourself. It’s only something that you can give to yourselves. We can only grant ourselves self-esteem. No one else can give it to us. No one else can fill our cup with self-esteem. No one else can say “here you go, here’s a bag of self-worth”. That’s not how it works. It has to come from the self.
Now don’t get it twisted, it was a struggle remembering that no matter what anybody thought about me— it was more about what I thought of myself. It was all that I had to call my very own.
Quite often—I had to go deep down inside to garner the strength to say “I DON’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK OF ME.” I know who I am and I like ME.
Funny thing is it actually worked. Today I am 65 years old—and don’t care if you like me or not…because what others think about me is none of my BUSINESS!AMP!
Living in a world where there are so many different opinions and assaults on black and brown it can and will make you angry as hell. Black and Brown peopleAMP lives matter..just as much as White lives matter. The only difference is…
Find your self-worth and to hell with other people’s opinions.
You Heard Me.

Well, I entered this world in 1955, I've journeyed through it, I've experienced loads of discomfort, taken a few tumbles, even had a butt-breaking incident, and encountered a TBI. In addition, I struggle with feelings of depression and anxiety. But hey, at least I can laugh about it all!
