Ignoring Injustice: Why Turning a Blind Eye Is…

Ignoring injustice

Ignoring injustice…wake up, people; if we never speak out against injustices facing people of color, older adults, and people with disabilities, the world won’t improve.

What’s more..it won’t get better if we continue to ignore the shit happening in the world today. Wake up and smell the roses…we live in a cruel, unfair, angry society with too many problems.

It’s time to end backward-thinking asses such as Marjorie Taylor Green and all of the trolls who think their point of view is all that matters.

Needless to say…there is growing evidence that Donald and his clandestine idiots planned and executed an attack on this country and the people.

Such as…

By prohibiting abortions, they have deprived women of their right to decide whether they want a child.

As a descendant, you want to cry foul…when you see your ancestors’ actions displayed in books that teach kids about the evil things they did, how they exploited people and used black people as property.

Banning books and restricting teachers…

As a result, you create laws that make it illegal, to tell the truth to your children, thereby creating the perception of a difference between fact and fiction.

In the case of white people, there is no escaping from the fact that your ancestors were greedy, twisted, inquisitive people.

To build this country, they seized land from Native Americans, then bought and enslaved Africans.

Truth is…

As humans, we often have a natural inclination to turn a blind eye to the injustices happening around us. We convince ourselves that it’s not our problem, that there’s nothing we can do about it, or that someone else will take care of it.

But the truth is, ignoring injustice only perpetuates it. It allows the oppressors to continue their harmful actions and denies justice to those wronged.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of the world’s problems, but we must remember that change starts with individual actions.

The Negative Impact of Ignoring Injustice

When we ignore injustice, we contribute to its perpetuation. By turning a blind eye, we allow those in power to continue to harm others.

We deny justice to those who have been wronged and show them that their suffering doesn’t matter. Ignoring injustice also harms us as individuals and as a society.

It erodes our moral compass and makes us complicit in the actions of oppressors. It creates a culture of apathy and indifference, where individuals don’t stand up for what is right.

Why People Ignore Injustice

There are many reasons why people ignore injustice. Some people may feel overwhelmed by the scale of the problem and believe that their actions won’t make a difference.

Others may feel that speaking up will lead to negative consequences, such as being ostracized or losing their job. Some may believe that it’s not their place to speak up or that they don’t have the knowledge or tools to address the issue.

Conclusion

Ignoring injustice only perpetuates it. We must acknowledge the harm that is being done and take action to address it. There are many ways to address injustice, from educating ourselves and others to supporting organizations working toward justice.

Privilege plays a significant role in addressing injustice, and those with privilege have a responsibility to use it to advocate for marginalized people

When we work together, we can create a more just and equitable world. Change starts with individual actions, so let’s take small steps toward creating a better world for all.
