Life The Truth And Being Free YOU HEARD ME

ELECTION IS OVERIn life, you have the power to make one’s own choices or decisions. Find something or someone to inspire you and remind you that your choices determine your life – whether to be happy or sad, whether to look forward or back, whether you go one better, or lose, whether you succeed or not.

Remember, the choices you make impact your life and the lives of those people around you. Look for poems, quotes, or motivational talk from someone you admire to make the right choices; later in life, you will look back and be thankful that you made the decision you did!

Behold a little advice from OTHERS

Who are you to judge the life I live?

I know I’m not perfect

-and I don’t live to be-

but before you start pointing fingers…

make sure your hands are clean!”

― Bob Marley

Suffering has been stronger than all other teachings, and has taught me to understand what your heart used to be. I have been bent and broken but – I hope – into a better shape.”

― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

No persons are more frequently wrong, than those who will not admit they are wrong.”

― François de La Rochefoucauld

I’m selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”

― Marilyn Monroe

There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state with another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness. We must have felt what it is to die, Morrel, that we may appreciate the enjoyments of life

“Live, then, and be happy, beloved children of my heart, and never forget, that until the day God will deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is contained in these two words, ‘Wait and Hope.”

― Alexandre Dumas

After Thoughts

Our journey through life isn’t always unproblematic, as we know! Sometimes you have those moments where your dreams seem to get lost, and nothing is going quite as planned.

We all have experienced some setbacks in our lives at some point and time. I must admit that life threw setbacks that were very difficult to overcome. However, you know what they say about setbacks; they are the perfect scenario for learning.

Life lessons are to be learned, and challenges will make you stronger. For me, tough times forced me to take a good look at myself, not from someone’s standpoint. But the person that lives deep inside.

I’ve learned all I needed from experience was some inspiration to spark my inner strength and encouraged me to keep going. My setback came in the form of a Traumatic Brain Injury.

My life, as it once was, is no more; after passing out hitting my head on a carpeted concrete floor. Gradually, over two years, my life was unbalanced. I had problems with walking, talking, thinking, and remembering things.

None of those things crippled me for life…the problems are very much a part of my life today; however, they don’t control me; I own them. I live the truth, and it set me free.
