What others think about me is none of my business.

In general..what others think of me is of no concern of mine…I’ve discovered that my path is not like anyone else — it is very diverse.

Just as you are! So checking in with your intuitive knowledge about who you are and what you really want is essential to let go of others opinions. Because then you’ll always have a connection with your very own truth!

OpinionOver the years I learned that I had to be me—no matter what others opinions were. Life wasn’t easy and the road was bumpy as hell. However, I gained some valuable life lessons by staying true to myself.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.”— Albert Einstein

Of course there was the issue of self-esteem— it is just that – esteem of the yourself. It’s only something that you can give to yourselves. We can only grant ourselves self-esteem. No one else can give it to us. No one else can fill our cup with self-esteem. No one else can say “here you go, here’s a bag of self-worth”. That’s not how it works. It has to come from the self.

I have never been a person that over value what other people thought about me; see I was not looking for someone else to fill my cup. I didn’t need someone else to give me a daily dose of self-esteem to know the value OF MY SELF WORTH.

Now don’t get it twisted, it was a struggle remembering that no matter what anybody thought about me— it was more about what I thought of myself. It was all that I had to call my very own.

Quite often—I had to go deep down inside to garner the strength to say “I DON’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK OF ME.” I know who I am and I like ME.

Funny thing is it actually worked. Today I am 65 years old—and don’t care if you like me or not…because what others think about me is none of my BUSINESS!!

Living in a world where there are so many different opinions and assaults on black and brown it can and will make you angry as hell. Black and Brown people lives matter..just as much as White lives matter. The only difference is…

Most Black and Brown…are referred to as You People, the future inmates!

Find your self-worth and to hell with other people’s opinions.

You Heard Me.
