Eyes Wide-Shut movie came out years ago with a lot of speculation.

Before explaining what the movie is about, Kubrick passed away, so it’s easy to understand why. 

What was his intention?

I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned from “Eyes Wide Shut,” it’s that we need to pay more attention to something in front of us. 

Sure, I couldn’t make heads or tails of what was going on in this movie for about an hour and a half (I’m still not sure), but at least my eyes were not wide shut.

If you’ve never seen Eyes Wide Shut, then this article is not for you. If you have and nod in agreement to the points below, well… you’re not alone. 

 Although the movie is about sex and adultery, starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. 

The phrase EYES Wide Shut can take on another meaning.

For instance…

Eyes Wide Shut could also mean a person who refuses to see something in plain view because of their preconceived ideas of what something should be, no matter how off base the picture is.

I call them… Dewy-eyed people; lacking in worldly wisdom without informed judgment. 

Case in point,

Despite the excessive death toll and various variations of COVID-19, you would expect that life would return to normal. 

Unfortunately, we’re still dealing with another type of contagious strain of the COVID virus.

Having said that, Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is a dewy-eyed person without worldly knowledge or informed judgment about very few things.

She goes around spewing out dumb shit concerning COVID-19… even in the face of all the evidence to the contrary.

Over the weekend, her latest is comparing covid-19 to cancer.

Eyes Wide-Shut…She looks like this.

They criticized Marjorie Taylor Greene for comparing the spread of Coronavirus to cancer during a rant against Coronavirus’ safety measures on Saturday.

In a Twitter message, the Georgia Republican asserted that schools have never been closed because of cancer-related deaths in the U.S.

“Over 600,000 Americans die every year from cancer. Not a single school has closed. And every year, over 600,000 Americans, of all ages and races, will continue to die,” Greene said.

The country has never once shut down.

Greene then added that masking and vaccines are “not stopping COVID, that is just government control,” and suggested that drugs such as Ivermectin – a parasitic medicine that has not been approved as a safe treatment for COVID-—– are instead saving lives.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned that taking large doses of Ivermectin can be highly toxic and even lead to death.

Allow people to choose natural immunity or vaccines, w/o discrimination,” she wrote.

Have mercy

She is a bumbling idiot; cancer is not infectious and cannot spread.

Why in the hell do you keep making yourself look foolish? 

Shouldn’t you represent Georgia’s constituents instead?

Anyway…

DISPLAYING a malfunctioning BRAIN in the world is not a good idea.

Oh dear, your cheese has slipped off your crackers!

Cancer is NOT contagious.

You cannot “catch” cancer from someone else. 

Sadly, so many people out here in the world also fall into the category of having their eyes wide-shut.

Most people don’t know; instead, they follow the ignorant people they relate to who share their beliefs and opinions.

As a final note…

Throughout the world, there are many “jackasses” walking around with distorted ideas and views, with eyes wide shut.

We can’t stop them from expressing their sick views, but when they spread lies, it goes too far.
