Getting Up Out Your Feelings is the Key to…

Do you ever feel like your emotions control you? Maybe a small setback ruins your entire day, or a negative comment from a coworker sends you spiraling. It’s easy to let our feelings control our lives, but what if I told you that letting go of those emotions could lead to a happier and more fulfilling life

That’s right, getting up out of your feelings is the key to unlocking true happiness. You can live free from the burden of negative thoughts and feelings by learning to control your emotions and not let them control you.

It’s not always easy, but with a little practice and determination, you can see a positive change in your life. So, are you ready to take control and start living your best life yet?

Let’s explore why getting up out of your feelings is so important. The consequences of being ruled by emotions is when we allow our emotions to control us, we give them power over our lives, which can have serious consequences in our personal and professional lives.

  • For example, if anger dictates our reactions, we can damage our relationships with others, lose our jobs, or even get into legal trouble.
  • Similarly, if we let sadness take over, we can become isolated and disconnected from the people and activities that bring us joy.

EMOTIONS

In short, being ruled by our emotions can lead to chaos and unhappiness.

Additionally, we do not control our lives when our emotions rule us. Instead, we are at the mercy of whatever situation or person triggers our emotional response.

Which can be exhausting, draining, and lead to helplessness and despair.

However, we regain control of our lives when we learn to get out of our feelings. We are no longer at the mercy of our emotions but can choose how to respond to them.

The benefits of getting up out your feelings

So, what are the benefits of getting up out of your feelings? First and foremost, it allows us to live a happier and more fulfilling life.

  • When our emotions do not control us, we can enjoy the good things in life without being distracted or derailed by negative thoughts and feelings.
  • We can form deeper connections with others, pursue our passions, and find meaning in our lives.
  •  This can help us to bounce back more quickly from setbacks and to maintain a positive outlook on life.

Techniques for getting up out your feelings – mindfulness, gratitude, and reframing

So, how can we get up out of our feelings? Several techniques can be helpful, including mindfulness, gratitude, and reframing.

  • Mindfulness involves being present at the moment and observing our thoughts and feelings without judgment. This can help us to become more aware of our emotional responses and to choose how we respond to them.
  • Gratitude involves focusing on the positive aspects of our lives and being thankful for what we have. This can help to shift our focus away from negative thoughts and feelings and to cultivate a more positive outlook on life.
  • Reframing involves looking at situations from a different perspective. Instead of seeing a setback as a failure, we can see it as an opportunity for growth and learning. By reframing our thoughts, we can change our emotional response and take back control of our lives.

How to develop emotional resilience

Getting up out of our feelings requires emotional resilience, which is the ability to adapt and cope with challenging situations.

Emotional resilience can be developed through practice and effort. Some ways to develop emotional resilience include:

  • Building a support network of friends and family
  • Engaging in regular exercise and physical activity
  • Practicing stress reduction techniques like meditation or deep breathing
  • Practicing self-care, including getting enough sleep, eating well, and taking time for hobbies and interests.

By building emotional resilience, we can better handle whatever life throws our way.

The Role of Therapy in emotional regulation

For me, getting up out my feelings required professional help. Therapy can be an effective way to learn emotional regulation skills and to work through underlying emotional issues.

A therapist can help to identify negative thought patterns and to develop strategies for managing emotions in a healthy way.

In addition, therapy can provide a safe and supportive environment for exploring difficult emotions and experiences.

The connection between emotional regulation and mental health

I’ve learned that emotional regulation is closely tied to mental health. When we cannot regulate our emotions, we are more likely to experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

Conversely, when we can regulate our emotions, we are more likely to experience positive mental health outcomes, including increased resilience and well-being.

Real-life examples of people who have improved their lives by getting up out their feelings

There are many real-life examples of someone who has improved their lives by getting up from their feelings. One of those was ME.

  •  I overcame the fear of public speaking by reframing from thoughts and focusing on the opportunity to connect with others.
  •  For years I carried this deep resentment toward people in my life that I felt took me for granted and hurt me in the worse way possible. I could move forward only after letting go of anger and resentment towards them by practicing mindfulness and gratitude.

By taking control of my emotions, I could live a happier and more fulfilling life.

The importance of practicing self-compassion

Finally, it’s important to remember that getting up out your feelings is not always easy. We will all experience setbacks and challenges along the way.

  •  That’s why it’s important to practice self-compassion. Self-compassion involves treating ourselves with kindness and understanding, even when we make mistakes or experience difficult emotions
  • By practicing self-compassion, we can cultivate a sense of resilience and self-worth to help us get out of our feelings and live our best lives.

EMOTIONS

In conclusion, getting up out our feelings is the key to living a happier and more fulfilling life. We can live free from negative thoughts and feelings by learning to control our emotions and not let them control us.

Techniques like mindfulness, gratitude, and reframing can help develop emotional resilience. For some people, therapy may be necessary to develop emotional regulation skills.

Regardless of the approach, it’s important to remember that getting up from our feelings is a lifelong practice requiring patience and self-compassion.

By taking control of our emotions, we can live our best lives and experience greater overall well-being.

Stop injustice. Inscription of nigerian protest slogan.

Ignoring Injustice: Why Turning a Blind Eye Is…

Ignoring injustice

Ignoring injustice…wake up, people; if we never speak out against injustices facing people of color, older adults, and people with disabilities, the world won’t improve.

What’s more..it won’t get better if we continue to ignore the shit happening in the world today. Wake up and smell the roses…we live in a cruel, unfair, angry society with too many problems.

It’s time to end backward-thinking asses such as Marjorie Taylor Green and all of the trolls who think their point of view is all that matters.

Needless to say…there is growing evidence that Donald and his clandestine idiots planned and executed an attack on this country and the people.

Such as…

By prohibiting abortions, they have deprived women of their right to decide whether they want a child.

As a descendant, you want to cry foul…when you see your ancestors’ actions displayed in books that teach kids about the evil things they did, how they exploited people and used black people as property.

Banning books and restricting teachers…

As a result, you create laws that make it illegal, to tell the truth to your children, thereby creating the perception of a difference between fact and fiction.

In the case of white people, there is no escaping from the fact that your ancestors were greedy, twisted, inquisitive people.

To build this country, they seized land from Native Americans, then bought and enslaved Africans.

Truth is…

As humans, we often have a natural inclination to turn a blind eye to the injustices happening around us. We convince ourselves that it’s not our problem, that there’s nothing we can do about it, or that someone else will take care of it.

But the truth is, ignoring injustice only perpetuates it. It allows the oppressors to continue their harmful actions and denies justice to those wronged.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of the world’s problems, but we must remember that change starts with individual actions.

The Negative Impact of Ignoring Injustice

When we ignore injustice, we contribute to its perpetuation. By turning a blind eye, we allow those in power to continue to harm others.

We deny justice to those who have been wronged and show them that their suffering doesn’t matter. Ignoring injustice also harms us as individuals and as a society.

It erodes our moral compass and makes us complicit in the actions of oppressors. It creates a culture of apathy and indifference, where individuals don’t stand up for what is right.

Why People Ignore Injustice

There are many reasons why people ignore injustice. Some people may feel overwhelmed by the scale of the problem and believe that their actions won’t make a difference.

Others may feel that speaking up will lead to negative consequences, such as being ostracized or losing their job. Some may believe that it’s not their place to speak up or that they don’t have the knowledge or tools to address the issue.

Conclusion

Ignoring injustice only perpetuates it. We must acknowledge the harm that is being done and take action to address it. There are many ways to address injustice, from educating ourselves and others to supporting organizations working toward justice.

Privilege plays a significant role in addressing injustice, and those with privilege have a responsibility to use it to advocate for marginalized people.

When we work together, we can create a more just and equitable world. Change starts with individual actions, so let’s take small steps toward creating a better world for all.

Life’s Journey: Finding Joy in Every Moment!

Life’s journey
Find joy along your journey. Quote.

I was here…

As we walk through Life, how many of you think about how you will be remembered? What mark have you left on another person’s Life or in this world? Proof that you were here!

I believe that we all have a purpose in Life, and if we go about finding out what that purpose is…we will start to leave footprints on the face of this world, which will describe exactly who we were and what we were about.

For me…

I’ve always been about reaching out to help others and doing whatever I can to better myself and be a better person so that in the end … GOD will have something to judge me on when my number comes up…and I must depart this physical Life.

You know death is coming for us all at some point, so we must be ready.

What’s more…it is up to us to decide how we want to live our lives. There is no one correct answer to this question. Everyone has their answer based on their own beliefs and values.

And So…

Life is what we make of it. We can choose to live in a way that is fulfilling and rewarding, or we can choose to live in a way that is empty and meaningless. It is up to us to decide how we want to live our lives.

So What makes Life unique?

We often take Life for granted without considering what makes it so unique. But when you think about it, Life is an amazing thing.

From the moment we are born, we are constantly growing and changing. We learning new skills and gaining new experiences.

We meet new people and form new relationships. And through it all, we are constantly evolving and growing as individuals.

Life’s journey
Walking alone in the Highlands

Subsequently… Life is precious and unique, and we should cherish every moment. After all, Life is the only thing we have that is truly our own.

  • First, Life is self-replicating. This means it can create copies of itself, essential for survival.
  • Second, Life is adaptable. It can change and evolve to better suit its environment.
  • Third, Life is complex. It comprises many different parts that work together to create a whole.

These three things make Life unique and allow it to thrive in almost any situation. So the next time you wonder what makes Life special, remember that these three things make it so amazing.

To wrap things up

Life’s journey, is not a destination. This means we should enjoy the journey and not worry about the destination.

We should live in the present and not worry about tomorrow!

Black Mothers & Pregnant Women !

Black women
Future african american mother in white dress talking with baby inside belly

The struggles Black mothers and pregnant women face in the U.S. are significant. The health outcomes for black women are some of the worst in the developed world.

Consequently, Black women are three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women.

In addition… They are also more likely to suffer from preterm labor, high blood pressure, and diabetes during pregnancy.

The most shocking is that these health disparities are not due to economic factors. Black women with college degrees and good jobs still have worse health outcomes than white women with comparable education and income levels.

So what’s behind these disparities? Racism is a key factor. Black women in the United States experience systemic racism in every area of their lives.

This racism creates social barriers that make it difficult for black women to get the care and support they need during pregnancy and childbirth.

The United States has always been a country of great opportunity, but it often feels like a struggle for black mothers and pregnant women.

Black women

From the effects of racism and social barriers to the lack of access to quality healthcare, black mothers and pregnant women in the U.S. have to fight harder than ever to get by.

And yet, despite all the odds stacked against them, black mothers and pregnant women continue to rise and fight for a better future.

If you’re a black mother or pregnant woman in the United States, know you are not alone. Many organizations and individuals are fighting for your rights and working to improve the health outcomes for black women and their

In this blog, I will explore black mothers’ and pregnant women’s struggles in the U.S. and how they continue to fight against all odds.

1. Disadvantages That Black Mothers Face In The U.S.

There is no doubt that black mothers face a unique set of challenges in the United States. From higher poverty rates and poor maternal health outcomes to discrimination and racism, black mothers must contend with many obstacles that other mothers do not.

Black mothers remain among the country’s most resilient and powerful people despite these challenges.

They are often the backbone of their families and communities and continue fighting for justice and equality.

If you are a black mother in the United States, know you are not alone. Many organizations and individuals are working to support you and help you navigate these challenges. You are strong, you are powerful, and you are vital to the future of this country.

2. Racism in the U.S. Healthcare System

Racism is a major problem in the U.S. healthcare system. Studies have shown that minorities receive lower-quality care than whites, even when controlling for income and other factors. This disparity often leads to poorer health outcomes for minorities, who are more likely to develop chronic diseases and die younger.

There are many reasons why racism exists in the healthcare system. One reason is that minorities are more likely to be uninsured, which means they have less access to quality care. Another reason is that minority communities are often underserved by healthcare providers, who may not be culturally competent or have the language skills to communicate with minority patients properly.

Racism in the healthcare system is a complex problem, but some steps can be taken to address it. One way to start is by increasing access to quality care for all Americans, regardless of race.

3. Social and Economic Barriers

Pregnant black women in the United States face significant social and economic barriers that can impact their health and well-being. Despite recent advances in maternal care, black women are still more likely than white women to experience pregnancy-related complications and death. They are also more likely to have low-birthweight babies and to experience preterm labor.

Many factors contribute to these disparities, including systemic racism, poverty, and lack of access to quality healthcare. These barriers put pregnant black women at a disadvantage from the start, and it is important to address them to improve maternal health outcomes.

It is no secret that pregnant black women in the United States face social and economic barriers that their white counterparts do not. These barriers can make it difficult for black women to get the care they need during pregnancy, leading to health complications for both the mother and child.

While many organizations and programs are working to help pregnant black women, the fact remains that these women are at a disadvantage from the start.

4. Lack of Maternal Health Resources for pregnant Black women

It is well-known that pregnant black women face several challenges regarding maternal health care.

They are more likely to experience pregnancy-related complications and to die from pregnancy-related causes than any other group of women in the United States.

And yet, despite this well-documented disparity, there is still a lack of maternal health resources available to pregnant black women.

This is particularly true in rural and underserved communities, where black women often travel long distances to receive the necessary care.

This lack of resources is unacceptable. Pregnant black women deserve access to the same quality of care as everyone else.

And we must do better to ensure they receive the care and support they need during this critical time.

5. Conclusion

To see real change, we must address the disparities’ root causes. Can we create a level playing field for all pregnant women in the United States?
