It’s crazy how many people are crazy. Crazy, as in “crazy for.” Crazy, as in “crazy about.” And while being so deeply committed to something can be a good thing–Crazy for ideas. Crazy about our children. Crazy about the latest fashion trend–it often leads us down some pretty dark paths regarding mental health and wellness.
Mental Health and Wellness
Consequently, I have learned the hard way that positive mental health allows people to:
- Cope with the stresses of life
- Work productively and
- Make meaningful contributions to their communities
That said, I’ve learned various ways to maintain positive mental health through therapy sessions which include:
- Connecting with others
- Staying positive
- Getting physically active
- Helping others
- Getting enough sleep
- Developing coping skills
What’s more, mental health is a family matter,” the same instinct to avoid the topic, in fact, also prevents many families whose lives have been jolted by it from talking about it.
As if it were shameful and not inevitable influenced by the geneses.
Mental health is how well you are emotionally, psychologically, and socially.
Indeed, you have mentally ill people who fall through the cracks, and they’re going to do things that people will not even believe… such as a mother who murders her 12-year old son because she thought he stole her memory card.
And yet, mental health issues are so flawed –No wonder people are afraid. Moreover, stigmatizing mental illness in such a way — making something to be fearful of — will continue to isolate those suffering and prevent them from getting the help they need.
The good and bad about being crazy as hell
Conclusion: The good thing about being crazy is that you are not expected. Ordinary people can seem tedious, while crazies have a lot more fun.
But the bad thing about being crazy as hell is that it’s hard to make sense of your thoughts and emotions sometimes, which leads to some destructive behavior.
Some people try to create boundaries for themselves to stay sane, but these don’t always work out too well because they’re just trying so darn hard all the time! What do you think?
The mental health of an individual affects how they think, feel, and act.
Do you feel like your life would be better if you could get things under control, or are there enough upsides with being nuts?
