THE TRUTH HURTS: Nevertheless IT’S WORTH IT.

The Truth hurts…at least, that’s what I tell myself when I’m feeling down about something. If you’re like me, you might find yourself in a similar situation from time to time.

Generally speaking, in our society today, the truth may be hard to swallow, but to be happy, you must be comfortable with it, even if it hurts.

I’m no expert; however, I feel that people should look for the silver lining in every situation because it’s usually where the truth lies.

There is an old saying…the truth will set you free. Even when things seem terrible, there’s usually something good that can come from it.

Anyway, in this blog post, I’ll share some of the things that help me when I’m feeling down.

So without further ado!

1. THE TRUTH HURTS!

The truth is something a lot of people choose not to believe nowadays. However, it is the foundation of relationships and the cornerstone of our beliefs.

Similarly, it is the light that guides us through the dark times.

Moreover, it’s no secret that our world is a formidable place, and…there are always challenges and difficulties to face.

Most importantly, telling the truth is worth it, even when it hurts like hell. But it’s important to remember that the truth is always worth seeking out, no matter how hard it may be to find.

Sure, the truth may not always be pleasant. But it’s still the truth.

We all have moments where we need to hear the truth, and the only thing worse than a lie is not knowing what happened and being left with questions unanswered.

So don’t be afraid to seek the truth, even when it hurts.

It’s worth it in the end.

2. Why the Truth Matters

In a world where it’s becoming increasingly easy to manipulate the truth, with fake news and alternative facts, it’s more important than ever to seek the truth.

Also, it’s more important than ever to stand up for what’s right.

For example:

The former president’s lies affected people around him and even those far away from him… who would read what he said in newspapers or hear it through broadcasts because they believed everything this man said without questioning any details…

The thing is that while they could see with their own eyes the bold-faced lying the man did without skipping a beat, creating dangerous situations;

Unfortunately, our leaders could have come out and told the Truth Instead! However, they didn’t.

His most dangerous lie: was more like a family of lies instead of a single one.

  • The first lie, the virus was equivalent to the flu; and that the virus was “totally under control“;
  •  He said the virus was “disappearing,” suggesting Americans didn’t have to change their usual behavior.
  • He disregarded the crisis, where more than 386,000 Americans have died from the virus.

The appalling lie: He won the 2020 election

It’s a sad day when we can’t trust our president. It seems like every time he opens his mouth; lies are tattooed on the back of it.”

Trump’s White House campaign against reality has culminated with his lie that he was the winner of the 2020 presidential election.

Most of us knew it was nonsense. But, for millions of addlebrained Americans, it was the truth

But why does the truth matter? The truth matters because our beliefs shape our reality

Because what we believe to be true affects our actions and decisions and ultimately determines the course of our lives. (January 6, 2022 insurrection)

If we believe in lies and falsehoods, we will make choices based on those beliefs and end up in a place we never intended. (January 6, 2022 insurrection)

So the next time you’re tempted to believe something just because it’s convenient or comforting, remember that the truth matters.

3. Honesty is the Best Policy

In a world full of lies and deception, it’s refreshing to hear a little bit of honesty.

The next time you’re tempted to tell a little fib, remember that it is best for your good and the good of others. Why?

We may get caught and have trouble explaining ourselves when someone finds out later on down the road (think marriage vows!), which could lead to even bigger problems – trust me, I’ve seen this happen!

And most importantly, though…I know how hard being truly honest works sometimes-especially if there’s some big secret involved, like gambling or drinking too much alcohol while concealing the truth.

So go ahead and be honest – it’s the best policy!

4. The importance of telling the truth

We all know that honesty is best. Regardless, what happens when you choose to tell lies?

  • The Importance of Truth
  • Truth matters to us as individuals and society as a whole.
  • As individuals, being truthful means that we can grow and mature, learning from our mistakes.
  • For societytruthfulness makes social bonds, and lying and hypocrisy break them.

If you doubt this, consider what happens when you find out that someone has lied to you. You feel less inclined to trust next time and also less inclined to trust other people more generally.

5. The bottom line: The truth is always worth it

There’s an old saying that the truth is always worth it. But what does that mean?

  • All truth passes through three stages:
  • It is ridiculed.
  • It is violently opposed.
  • It is accepted as being self-evident.
  • Arthur Schopenhauer

So, the next time you’re tempted to withhold the truth or to tell a little white lie, remember that the truth is always worth it. Your relationships and your integrity will thank you for it.

The truth makes all things complete, brings things to fulfillment, and brings things to an end. It completes the circle of life and reality. E. B. Staples

Devotion requires a willingness, openness, and readiness to embrace the truth. It is a process of opening yourself to receive what already is.

God’s goodness and love already exist. God’s love leads us to the truth. Iyanla Vanzant

The Invisible Wounds We All Carry!

The Invisible Wounds We All Carry!

The Invisible Wounds of Daily Life… do you know…we all carry them around with us daily. Some are self-inflicted, some result from other people’s actions, and some come from an acrimoniously hateful world.

In any event, these wounds can be physical (like an injury to a part of your body), emotional or mental; They can be easy to see or invisible to the naked eye.

But no matter what kind, these injuries will never disappear unless you treat them!

Because the internal battle we wage against ourselves is real and will ruin the chance for happiness, it affects how much trust others can earn from you and freedom to love- so many daily struggles

Regardless of the fight, they all leave their mark on you, whether good or bad…it isn’t always clear, but one thing is for sure, …you will never know until after the fact what could’ve been.

In this blog post, I’ll delve into the concept of invisible wounds and how they can impact our lives.

1. The Pressure Of Perfection!

Also…being happy is uncommon for many who struggle daily against their private internal Battle in Hell, where you battle the demons alone…

First and foremost, no one is perfect. Some forget this simple fact: we all have unique flaws and imperfections.

Nevertheless… today’s society seems to like the pressure to be perfect is stronger than ever. Why?

The media constantly bombards us with images of perfectly crafted lives. Some people seem to have it all together – the perfect job, partner, body, and life.

The bottom line is that we all want to feel like we’re living in the perfect world, but it isn’t reality. Life is full of struggles, and there’s always something that can be improved- even if you think your life has nothing left for improvement!

2. The Fear Of Failure!

The fear of failure is very real and very common. It prevents us from achieving our goals and pursuing our dreams.

The good news is if you control your fear, it won’t be able to control you. You can take measures to deal with a fear of failure: For example…

  • First, you can figure out where it comes from.
  • What are you afraid of?
  • Is it the actual act of failing,
  • or is it the consequences of failure

Once you know where your fear is coming from, you can start to work on addressing it.

The most important thing to do is change your thinking about failure; it is not the end of the world but an opportunity to learn and grow.

Meanwhile, embrace your mistakes and use them as a chance to become better. Finally, remember that everyone experiences fear of failure at some point.

3. The Misery Of Regret!

On the whole, regret is a funny thing. It can come at you when you least expect it, hitting you like a ton of bricks.

Additionally, regret is often defined as sadness or remorse over something that occurred in our past, Such as something we said, did, or didn’t say or do.

Whatever the case may be, regret can be a very painful emotion. However, regret is lessons learned from mistakes. How?

If we take the lessons learned from our mistakes and use them to make better future choices, we can turn our regret into something positive.

So the next time you’re feeling the pain of regret, take a moment to reflect on what you’ve done.

4. The Burden Of Doubt!

Doubt can be a powerful thing. It can make you question everything you think you know and drive you to second-guess your every decision. It can also be a huge pain in the ass.

Sure, a little doubt can be healthy. It can keep you from making impulsive decisionsand help you make more informed choices. But when doubt gets out of hand, it can be a real nightmare.

So what do you do when doubt starts to take over? First, you must accept that doubt is a part of life and that everyone deals with it from time to time. Second, you need to find ways to deal with your doubt healthily. And last, you need to know when to let go of your doubt and go with your gut.

5. The Scars Of The Past!

We all have them. Scars, that is. Some are physical; some are emotional. And some are both. They remind us of the times we’ve been hurt, literally and figuratively.

They’re a constant reminder of the past, of the things we’ve been through. And sometimes, they can be a pain (literally and figuratively).

But despite all that, scars can also be pretty cool. They’re a badge of honor, a sign that we’ve made it through tough shit…

They remind us that we’re strong and can handle anything life throws our way. So next time you feel down about your scars, remember that they’re proof of your strength and resilience.

6. The Constant Presence Of “What If”!

What if I told you that there’s a little voice inside your head that’s always asking, “what if?” What if I told you that this voice is what prevents you from taking risks and living your life to the fullest?

The possibilities are endless, but so are the what-ifs. So next time you wonder what could have been, remember that it’s all in your dam head.

7. The aching of “I’m not good enough“!

It’s the feeling you get when you’re stuck in a job you hate, struggling to pay rent, and wondering if you’ll ever make it out of this rut. It’s the aching of “I’m not good enough.”

This feeling is all too common, but it doesn’t have to define you. You can rise above it and find success, even if you’ve been told your whole life that you’re not good enough. Here’s how:

  • First, accept that you’re not perfect. Everyone has flaws, and that’s what makes us unique and interesting.
  • Second, don’t compare yourself to others.
  • You are on your journey and will reach your destination in your own time.
  • Third, don’t be afraid to take risks. Step out of your comfort zone and pursue your dreams. And finally, never give

8. The weight of the world (again)!

Every day, it feels like the world gets a little heavier. And not just because of the stresses of daily life. No, the world is getting heavier.

Of course, the weight of the world is nothing to worry about. But it is interesting to think about how our actions are often dictated by what we believe to be true, even if it’s not true.

Conclusion:

The invisible wounds we all carry can be debilitating. They can prevent us from achieving our full potential and living our best lives.

But by becoming more aware of these wounds and talking about them, you can start to heal them.

Bigotry

Bigotry In Society: The Negative Effects!

Bigotry

Bigotry is an ugly thing. It’s been responsible for countless wars, hate crimes, and general misery. But did you know that bigotry can also have negative effects on society as a whole?

In this blog post, I’ll explore how bigotry can harm not just its targets but also the bigots themselves and the society they live in.

The Negative Effects Of Bigotry!

First…bigotry is defined as an unjustified or unreasonable hatred or intolerance towards an individual or group of people based on: their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or another characteristic.

And despite the progress made in recent years, bigotry is still a real problem in our society.

While bigotry can have several negative effects on both the individual and society as a whole; In any case, for the individual… bigotry can lead to:

  • The feelings of isolation, loneliness, and depression.
  • Also, it can cause physical and emotional damage.
  • And for society, bigotry can lead to division and mistrust.
  • As well as, It can also foster an environment of hate and violence.

Nonetheless, no one deserves to be a victim of bigotry, and until we learn to accept others for who they are, this problem will continue.

Bigotry is often manifested in discrimination, prejudice, or hate speech.

While it is often thought of as a personal belief or attitude, it can also hurt society; because of bigotry, individuals are often resistant to change and are unwilling to accept others who are different from them.

On the contrary, this leads to social disharmony and division, as well as a lack of understanding and respect for others.

The world is getting smaller and smaller thanks to the internet.

Conversely, the internet has drastically reduced the size of the world. In the past, if you wanted to communicate with someone on the other side of the world, you had to wait days or even weeks for a letter to arrive.

But, today, you can send a message instantaneously. Thanks to social media and other online platforms, you can also easily connect with people worldwide.

Without a doubt, the internet has also made it easier to access information and resources worldwide. The internet has truly made the world a smaller and more connected place.

Bigotry is an outdated way of thinking that leads to discrimination and hate.

Bigotry is an outdated way of thinking that leads to discrimination and hate. It’s time to leave bigotry in the past where it belongs. Time to start accepting people for who they are, not what they are.

So if you’re a bigot, it’s time to change your ways.

Otherwise, you’re just going to end up looking like a fool.

It’s time to leave this thinking behind and move into the future. After all, we’re all human beings and should be treated equally.

Bigotry Is Often Based On Ignorance!

BigotryWe’ve all seen it before. Someone says or does something bigoted, and what do they claim when confronted?

They’re not racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic; they just”don’t understand” those people.

In a manner of speaking, this is, of course,

bullshit; bigotry is almost always based on ignorance;

So, if you don’t understand someone, it’s because you haven’t taken the time to learn about them. Therefore, it’s not an excuse to discriminate.

Besides, there’s nothing wrong with being ignorant. It’s not a crime and doesn’t make you a bad person.

In fact, we all start ignorant about a lot of things. The key is not to stay ignorant. Once you know better, you have a responsibility to do better.

And that’s where bigotry comes in. So call them out the next time anyone tries to use ignorance as an excuse for bigotry.

After all, bigotry is when you refuse to learn and grow. It’s when you hold onto your ignorance even after you’ve been schooled.

Bigotry Can Be Passed Down From Generation To Generation.

recent study has shown that bigotry can be passed down from generation to generation. The study found that if your grandparents were bigots, there’s a good chance you are too.

So if you’re a bigot, you can blame your grandparents for passing down their bigoted ways. But on the bright side, you can also take solace in the fact that you’re not alone.

As evidence, Being a Bigot is a family affair.

For example, Do you make …

  • Assumptions about people based on race, religion, or ethnicity?
  •  Automatically assume that everyone from group X is lazy/stupid/offensive/etc.?
  • Do you believe that certain groups of people are innately inferior to others?
  • Do you use derogatory terms to refer to certain groups of people?
  • Do you believe some groups are responsible for all the world’s problems?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are nothing but a bigot!

Bigotry Is Plain DUMB?

I’m here to tell you that bigotry is just plain dumb. Seriously, what’s the point of hating someone just because they don’t look like you?

Moreover, it’s so pointless and childish. We should all be grownups and learn to accept people for who they are, not for who we think they should be.

So next time you’re tempted to be a bigot, remember: it’s dumb, childish, and better than that.

If you’re bigoted, you’re not just ignorant and prejudiced… you’re also really, really dumb.

Bigoted People Are Mean!

There’s no denying that bigoted people are mean. They’re the type of people who discriminate against others based on their race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. And frankly, they’re just not very nice people.

So the next time you encounter a bigoted person, remember that they’re not just mean; they’re also not very bright. And try to have a little pity for them. After all, they can’t help it if they’re mean and dumb.

Bigotry Leads To Hatred And Division!

We all know that bigotry leads to hatred and division.

After all, it’s one of the most toxic things a person can do.

But did you know that it can also lead to pretty funny situations? Here are a few examples:

  • – A bigot tries to avoid a person of a different race, only to realize that they are the only person of that race in the room.
  • – A bigot makes a racist or sexist joke, only to be met with blank stares from the people around them.
  • – A bigot tries to divide people by race or religion, only to find that everyone is united by their shared humanity.
  • So next time you see someone being a bigot, remember that they might be making the world a funnier place, even if they don’t mean to.

Bigotry Is Ignorant And Perpetuates Stereotypes!

Bigotry is ignorant and perpetuates stereotypes. It’s also kind of funny when you think about it.

Just like when someone slips on a banana peel, it’s always entertaining to see someone say or do something bigoted.

There’s a lot of ignorance in the world, and bigotry is another form of it. When someone is bigoted, they’re not just being foolish; they’re also being offensive and perpetuating harmful stereotypes.

In Conclusion,

Bigotry is a big problem in society. It leads to discrimination, stereotype threat, and myriad other problems. To improve society, we must start by stamping out bigotry.

So please, like, follow, and comment on this article to help spread the word!

Overzealous Sports Parents to Karens, Unhinged !

overzealous sports parents
Village in Palawan

The overzealous sports parents…we’ve all seen them:The cackling woman at the supermarket who won’t wear a mask. The guy at the bar who’s had too many and is looking for a fight.

Unhinged people are everywhere, making life difficult for everyone else.

This blog post will explore some of the most common types of unhinged people and what you can do to avoid them. So without further ado…

The “Karen” Meme!overzealous sports parents

We’ve all seen the “Karen” meme. You know, the one with the woman demanding to speak to the manager because she didn’t get her way.

Well, it turns out that the “Karen” meme might have started as a way to make fun of entitled white women.

However, it has since evolved into a catch-all term for anyone acting entitled or demanding beyond what is necessary.

So, if you’re ever feeling like a “Karen,” know that you’re not alone. We all have our moments.

 The Overzealous Sports Parent

As any parent of a young athlete knows, it can be easy to get too invested in your child’s sporting endeavors.

Generally speaking, it’s natural to want to see your child succeed, but there is a fine line between supportive and overzealous.

Besides that, an overzealous sports parent is typically defined as excessively involved in their child’s athletic pursuits.

In any event, it can manifest in several ways, such as

  • pushing your child to play a sport they don’t enjoy,
  • vicariously through your child’s success,
  •  or putting undue pressure on them to win.

While it’s normal to want your child to do well in sports, it’s important to remember that it’s just a game.

And then, the most important thing is that your child is happy and healthy.

In the meantime…if you find yourself getting too wrapped up in your child, take a deep breath and back the hell off!

 The Politically Incorrect Neighbor!

Undoubtedly, one neighbor is always a little cray-cray and not playing with a full deck.

You know the type – they’re the ones who are always spouting off about their unpopular political opinions or telling off-color jokes.

Although you might not agree with everything they say, you must admit they’re never boring.

Certainly, some people might find these neighbors annoying, but I think they’re a great addition to any neighborhood.

After all, where’s the fun in living in a neighborhood full of people who are the same?

On the contrary, I think it’s important to have a diversity of opinion and personality – and that’s what these politically incorrect neighbors provide.

The Conspiracy Theorist!

There is a growing trend of people who believe in conspiracy theories.

  • conspiracy theory explains an event or occurrence that is not widely accepted as true.
  • Conspiracy theories often contain elements of paranoia and distrust of authority.

However, there are many reasons people start to believe in conspiracy theories.

Some people may be susceptible to conspiracy theories due to…

More than ever, it is important to remember that just because someone believes in a conspiracy theory does not mean they are crazy or irrational.

People who believe in conspiracy theories are often very intelligent and well-informed. However, their beliefs can sometimes lead them down a dangerous path.

The Anti-Vaxxer

Woman Adjusting Medical Mask
Woman Adjusting Medical Mask

Are you one who can’t seem to get on board with vaccinating yourself or your children? If so, you are an anti-vaxxer.

Now, being an anti-vaxxer isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

We all have the right to make medical decisions, and if you don’t want to vaccinate yourself or your children, that’s your prerogative.

However, you should be aware of some downsides to being an anti-vaxxer.

For one, you’re putting yourself and others at risk if you don’t vaccinate.

Vaccines are designed to protect us from harmful diseases, and when everyone isn’t vaccinated, it puts us all at risk.

Additionally, you’re also helping to spread misinformation about

To Wrap Things Up!

And that’s the way the cookie crumbles! From overzealous sports parents to “Karens,” unhinged people have gone too far. If this article resonated with you, be sure to like and follow my blog for more content like this.

Clearwater: ridding herself of unwanted guest2!

clearwater

Clearwater always loved having a shower in the morning. It was a chance to start the day fresh and get all the dirt and grime of the day before behind her.

But one morning, she found herself face-to-face with an enigma.

And so while…

Standing in her shower, Clearwater recognized a hideous bichrome muck creature standing in front of her, begging for bread.

Clearwater was flabbergast…

clearwater

She had never seen anything like it before and didn’t know what to make of it because the creature kept repeating its request for bread.

She had tried everything to get rid of it, from setting traps to spraying it with water, but nothing had worked.

Clearwater had been struggling with the creature for weeks, fed up, and had enough of this shit.

Because it would show up uninvited, It would sneak into her house in the middle of the night, rummaging through her trash and making a mess.

The battle between Clearwater and the creature…

Ultimately, Clearwater had had enough. She had even tried logic with it, but it looked at her with its beady eyes and refused to budge.

 Then she snapped…

Grabbed a can of paint under the sink and sprayed the creature. As a result, it ran away, screeching in anguish.

And leaving a trail of guck behind it as it slithered away.

After that, Clearwater was relieved that the creature had taken off, but she was also agitated.

Strangely enough, getting rid of the little beast was quite challenging.

After Thoughts…

Hence, Clearwater let out a sigh of relief and smiled as she watched the creature disappear into the shadows.

Besides, she knew that her paint would make it easier to find any future appearances by this particular thieving deviant if it is brave enough to show up again!

In the meantime, she decided to be more careful about leaving food out at night on the counter…

Which would allow her to have peace of mind?

Guests, like fish, begin to smell after three days.

Benjamin Franklin

Conclusion:

The moral of this story is that sometimes in our lives, we have family and friends who come into our home and become so relaxed, so much so that you’re ready for them to leave.

Clearwater’s story is a great reminder of how important it is to be prepared for when guests come over. (make sure they don’t overstay their visit.)

To this end…we won’t go as for as Clearwater in ridding herself of her unwanted house guests; Why? There is a better way without using paint or anything else.

So to find out what that method is, subscribe to my blog and leave a comment below, letting me know what you think!
