Dog barking

Dogs bark, cats meow, and roosters crow…What’s the Meaning?

Dogs 🐶 bark, cats 🐈‍⬛ meow, and roosters 🐓 crow, right? It’s almost second nature to assign meaning to the noises animals make.

But what do they mean when they make those noises? Cats 🐈 don’t meow — they are silent until they reach maturity and begin to produce sounds.

Roosters 🐔 crowing at sunrise is part of their mating call. When dogs 🐩 bark, what do they say? What does a cat meow mean?

And if you hear a rooster crowing in the morning? There are many theories about these sounds and why animals use them as vocalizations.

Here I’ll dive into the meanings behind common animal sounds…

What Do Dogs Say When They Bark?

Needless to say, I’ll say it anyway…I have never been a lover of any animal; why? FEAR!

That’s to say, some dogs 🐕 are vicious looking, while others are playful…don’t matter either way; I’m not going to put my ass in place so a dog can take a bite!

Anywho, dogs bark for various reasons, including alerting the owners of a perceived threat, being territorial, or for play.

Although, dog barking can be beneficial, especially if a dog is used for protection. Having a dog that barks when someone gets too close to your property can be a great way to deter criminals.

The dogs’ bark warns the trespassers to get the hell off this property! You are not welcome here! So, get to stepping! B’fore I go on the offense! Cause you know damn well you don’t live here!

Also, dogs bark when excited, such as when reunited with their owners after a long trip away; that is to say, it’s about time you get home. (I missed y’all !)

In the wild, barking is used to warn other animals of your presence and to scare away predators. When a dog barks in a house, it is generally to get the attention of humans, but the reason why, who knows!

What Do Cats Mean When They Meow?

Dog barking

Cats can be very territorial, and their owners are seen as their property.

Cats use meowing to mark their territory and let other cats know that their humans are their property and their owners know what they want.

For example, a cat that wants to be let outside or fed often lets its owner know by meowing.

Cats can sometimes produce a clicking noise, which can signify aggression. Which is why…I don’t care to be in the presence of a cat! (They can scratch your eyes out!)

What Does aDog barking Crow Mean?

The most important reason a rooster will crow is to say so that you know; I am here. Therefore, don’t even think about invading my space. Announcing their presence loud and clear to anyone or roosters within earshot.

Still another well-known reason why a rooster 🐓 crows is the early morning call. Roosters will start to crow before sunrise;

The early morning call encourages you to get out of bed, move, and start your day. (By the way, you know you must be in the country to enjoy this luxury!) Right?

City folks aren’t allowed …no 🐔  allowed.

Conclusion

Dog barking
Cat against a dog, an unexpected meeting in the open air

These are just a few examples of the many sounds that animals make. From the dog to the cat to the rooster, you might be surprised at how many animals you can understand with a little research into their language!

Dogs bark for various reasons, including alerting the owners of a perceived threat, being territorial, or for play. Cats use meowing to show affection towards their humans and to get what they want. Roosters crow to let hens know they are looking for a mate.

Why is it so hard

Why Is It So Hard to Admit You’re Wrong?

 Why Is It So Hard

‍Why is it so hard to admit you’re wrong? Of course, admitting a mistake feels like an admission of defeat, but this isn’t always true.

As a matter of fact, there are many implications and consequences that come with mistakes – which makes admitting them difficult for some people that want the easy way out;

Or don’t have enough faith in themselves ́to be able to do something independently without help from others’ expectations (or lack thereof).

It takes courage and confidence-building practices such as self-reflection before we even consider owning up when things go awry!

Then again, some people know it all, have done it all, and don’t dare admit to being wrong. Why? Because it makes them look like they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about, and it takes away some power

In other words, people can see through your facade, pushing you back a little, making you weak and less intelligent than you would like to appear, which is a big deal for you.

But…why is it so hard to admit you’re wrong?

Why is it so hard

Sometimes it’s just in our nature!

Generally speaking, nobody is perfect, and humility is a good thing. However, sometimes this can become a bit of a crutch.

You know you don’t have to be the best at everything or always be right; everyone makes mistakes and has to own up to those mistakes.

Moreover, you can’t let humility get in the way of being honest with yourself and others. There are plenty of situations where you should be humble and recognize your imperfections

In fact, being wrong is attached to our sense of self; our pride comes out, and we do everything possible not to admit being wrong.

And when you admit you’re not perfect, it takes away from your identity, and you feel threatened.

For real, tho, you will make mistakes, so don’t fight to be right when you know you are wrong…in the long run, it creates a major problem.

It has serious implications for the ego.

Needless to say, there are situations where someone’s ego is on the line. For instance, I’m writing about why it is so hard to admit to being wrong.

So, I’m sharing my opinion, which indicates I know what I’m talking about. So, It seems like I have the answers and have done my research. (And I have) but If I’m wrong, it shatters that facade.

Most importantly, it shatters the image created; it’s like taking a bucket of water and pouring it on the fire I created.

In essence, I don’t want the flames to be put out; also, I want the flames to be as big and impressive as possible.

Nobody wants to hear that they’re wrong.

Most people may not want to hear that they’re wrong; what they want to hear is that you think they’re right and agree with them.

Likewise, they want to feel right and know that they are right. To that end, no matter what you say, they will disagree with you.

Conclusion

A reasonable person will understand that it’s important to remember nobody is perfect. And that we all make mistakes, and no one is above needing to admit they’re wrong.

It’s okay to make mistakes and admit that you’re wrong. Those things don’t make you less of a person. Instead, those things make us human.

Why is it so hard to admit you’re wrong? It has serious implications for our ego. It can lead to more shame and guilt. Nobody wants to hear that they’re wrong.

The bottom line is…we all make mistakes, and admitting those mistakes is how we learn and grow as individuals.

Just be yourself: the benefits of being you!

Just be yourself

In a world where everyone is trying to be someone else, it can be hard to remember that the best thing you can do is just be yourself. But there are a lot of benefits to being yourself! Here are just a few of them.

You’ll Spend Less Time Worrying About What Other People Think!

You’ll spend less time worrying about what other people think of you. This is great news because you’ll have more time to focus on important things, like your career, family, and hobbies.

In the long run, it’s not that you won’t care what others think of you; you’ll know that their opinions don’t define you.

Because you’ll be confident in yourself and your abilities, as well as, you’ll be able to brush off the haters easily.

So go out there and live your life the way you want to. Don’t worry about what others think because, in the end, it doesn’t matter.

Just be yourself…You’ll Be More Productive!

Most importantly, there’s no magic secret to being productive. However, you can do a few things to set yourself up for success.

Here are a few tips to help you be more productive in your work:

1. Get organized

2. Set realistic goals

3. Take breaks

4. eliminate distractions

5. Find a work buddy

Maybe if you follow these tips, you might be well on your way to being more productive in your work. And who knows, maybe you’ll even achieve that elusive work-life balance.

You’ll Be Healthier

Who doesn’t want to be healthier? We all know that we should eat healthily and exercise regularly, but sometimes it’s hard to find the motivation to do so.

However, you may not be aware of some benefits of being healthy. Here are a few reasons why you should make being healthy a priority:

1. You’ll have more energy.

2. You’ll be able to think more clearly.

3. You’ll be less likely to get sick.

4. You’ll be better able to handle stress.

5. You’ll live longer.

So there you have it! Being healthy isn’t just good for your body, mind, and overall wellbeing. So make an effort to eat right and exercise regularly, and you’ll be on your way to a healthier, happier life.

Just be yourself…You’ll Make Better Decisions!

Sometimes, making decisions can be tough. But did you know that you can make better decisions using your gut instinct?

That’s right – your gut can help you make better decisions. Of course, there are times when you should trust your gut.

For example, if you’re considering whether or not to eat that questionable piece of sushi, your gut is probably telling you to steer clear.

But there are other times when your gut can help you make a better decision.

For instance, if you’re trying to decide whether or not to take a new job, your gut can help you weigh the pros and cons and make the best decision for you.

So the next time you feel stuck, don’t be afraid to listen to your gut – it might just help you make the best decision you’ve ever made.

You’ll Be More Resilient…Just be yourself!

If you want to be more resilient, you can do a few things:

Just be yourself
Rubber Bands
  1.  Thinking of yourself as a rubber band. The more you stretch yourself, the more resilient you’ll become.
  2. Be like a tree. Trees bend in the wind, but they don’t break. They have a strong root system that helps them stay strong in adversity.

    3. Surround yourself with positive people. They can help you see the silver lining in every cloud.

    4. Try to be like a cat. Cats always land on their feet, no matter what. They’re graceful and resilient and always seem to land on their feet.

So if you want to be more resilient, try to think of yourself as a rubber band, a tree, a cat, or a positive person.

To wrap things up

There are plenty of benefits to being yourself. You don’t have to keep up a pretense 24/7 – you can relax and be yourself without worrying about what others think.

Being yourself also allows you to be genuine in your interactions with others, which can build stronger relationships.

And finally, self-acceptance is key to happiness, so by being yourself, you can learn to love and accept yourself just as you are.

So go ahead and be yourself – it’s good for you and the world. We could all use a little more authenticity in our lives.

Just Be yourself…

The Wondrous You Running Away!

The Wondrous You

The wondrous you… don’t want to deal with your problems, so you run away from them instead. While you get a lot of validation from your friends for doing so, it doesn’t make things any easier.

In fact, it just makes things harder in the long run. In most cases, you often feel like running away whenever you are confronted with a problem…but why?

Are you afraid of how it might change your life or what others might think about you if they discover it?

But in doing that, you neglect the fact that there is always a solution to every problem, and running away never solves anything.

Meanwhile, running away seems like a quick fix, but you can’t run away from the problems forever.

Anywho…Why Do You Run Away From Your Problems Anyway?

Running away is easy for most people, but in the end, you realize that they can’t run away from the problems forever. Why?

Instead of accepting them and trying to fix them, you choose to ignore them and hope that they go away.

Last but not least, you run away from your problems when you get your ass in a sling…to avoid facing the challenging aspects of life.

That is to say. You want your life to be a bed of roses that is always nice and easy. You run for the hills when a challenge pops up and hope it goes away.

You might be able to fool yourself for a little while by pretending that everything is okay, but the problems will not go away on their own.

In other words, you run away to avoid taking responsibility and own up to your colossal decisions.

In any case, here is some advice from a professional…

Leaving may be more comfortable, but staying put is where real growth happens.

Here are a few reasons to stop avoidance behavior:

  • Problems eventually catch up to you, and you’ll find yourself running into the same or similar situations.
  • It doesn’t teach you to grow or better yourself.
  • Facing problems teaches you perseverance, resilience, and strength.
  • You’ll gain a sense of pride and independence.

How Running Away Makes Your Problems Worse?

The wondrous you, can’t handle your problems? Fine. Run away then! You’ll feel so much better when there is no struggle at all;

It’s as though we are programming ourselves to fail whenever things get tough because if they don’t happen in one go, how will I know what works best for me?

You might think running away from your problems will make them disappear for good. But they will keep following you, no matter where your head is!

Be that as it may, they only come back with a vengeance when you run from your problems. What goes on around eventually comes right around to hit you where it hurts the most- in this case, literally!

The most important thing about dealing with problems is that they need to go away and how you deal with them…

The Importance Of Confronting Your problems!

To that end, you cannot run fast enough or hide for long…so confront the problems head-on.

Simply put…the moment you stop running away from your problems… is the same moment they start to diminish.

3 Ways To Stop Running And Face Your

The wondrous you
Running

Problems

Moreover, it takes strength and courage to end the cycle of running away and facing the problems you’re most afraid of.

Here is some advice to assist you in the process of stopping making tracks:

  • Stop being chicken-hearted: you must decide to stand up to your fears.
  • Gladly accept discomfort: many things in life are worth some discomfort. (Means take responsibility and own your self-made issues.)
  • Seek support and insight from others who have walked down the road you are walking down.

You have to take the first step towards solving your problems because they ain’t gonna solve themselves.

The wondrous you…Conclusion

By and large, there is nothing worse than running away from your problems, but there is also nothing better than confronting them head-on.

In reality, problems are inevitable, and it is impossible to live a life without them, so you might as well learn how to confront them.

Despite what you might think, running away doesn’t make your problems disappear but makes them worse.

Let me clarify…confronting your fears and problems is the only way to solve them.

A Broken World… Full Of Addlebrained People!

Broken world
Young People Protesting for Environment

In a broken world…many things can be considered broken today: our environment, our political climate, our social norms, and yes, even our sense of humanity.

Amid this chaos, some inspiring people choose to rise against all odds and make the world a better place.

These awesome people are ordinary individuals who have decided to do something extraordinary by making a difference wherever they go.

Such as…

Gregory Smith. Born in 1990, could read at age two, and had enrolled in university at 10. But “genius” is only one-half of the Greg Smith story.

When not voraciously learning, this young man travels the globe as a peace and children’s rights activist.

He is the founder of International Youth Advocates, an organization that promotes principles of peace and understanding among young people throughout the world.

He has met with Bill Clinton and Mikhail Gorbachev and spoke in front of the UN. Smith has been nominated four times for a Nobel Peace Prize for these and other humanitarian and advocacy efforts.

Indeed, this world is broken, but it’s also an ugly place at times. The ugliness lurks everywhere you look – hatred, ignorance, intolerance, selfishness, fear… All of these antagonistic attributes can temporarily break us if we let them.

The World Is Broken For Many Reasons.

There are many reasons why the world is broken. Whether it be wars, natural disasters, or the climate, the world has seen it all.

what’s more, if you look back at the history of our planet, you will find that it has been a terrible place to live in at times. The environment is in a state of constant change due to extreme weather and climate.

There have been times when our planet has been so hot that there was no ice and times when it has been so cold that the whole planet was covered in ice.

Many natural disasters have occurred in the history of the world, including earthquakes, volcanoes, and floods.

In addition, wars have also been a part of human history since the beginning of time. World Wars…unfortunate instances where the entire world has been at war.

Natural disasters and wars have caused millions of people to die and caused many to be injured. There have been many genocides in the history of the world in which certain racial groups have been destroyed.

Addlebrained People… Are Responsible For the Brokenness!

Many things in the world are broken and could be fixed, but many are broken because of shitty people.

As a matter of fact, our social and political systems are broken due to having deceiving shitty people in power

Coupled with our environment constantly being polluted by shitty-ass people who do not give a damn for the planet.

To say nothing of the many forms of hate and discrimination globally imposed on others by shitty people.

Many of those people are struggling and need help, but those in positions to help those who choose not to.

There are many forms of intolerance globally, and many of these issues come from people.

Diseases are a global problem, and people contribute to the spread of these illnesses.

We’re The Problem and the solution!

If you’re not a part of the solution, you’re a part of the problem.” African Proverb

The world can be a place where we can make a difference by helping others. We can make a difference by showing kindness, assisting those in need, and taking care of the environment.

If we want to make the world a better place, we must first acknowledge that we are the problem.

Whenever it becomes clear that we are contributing to the problem, we have the power to change this. We must also acknowledge that we are the solution.

So…we can make a difference and help heal the broken world we live in.

The World Is A Dangerous Place To Live In!

The world is a dangerous place to live in since it’s full of dangerous people capable of…

  •  Committing mass murders, rapes, robberies, and kidnapping.
  • Abusing children emotionally, physically, and sexually.
  • Driving under the influence causes destruction and death.
  • Being mentally unstable causes harm to others.
  • It is full of people abusing drugs and alcohol and destroying their own lives and others around them.

Many criminals in the world are capable of committing horrific murders like…

Jeffrey Dahmer

  • Jeffrey Dahmer started killing in 1978, just 18 years old and wasn’t arrested for murder until 1991, after a would-be victim escaped and led police back to Dahmer’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin, home.

It was there that some of the gruesome details of his life of killing were seen via photos of mutilated bodies and body parts strewn across the apartment.

He even had a vat of acid he used to dispose of victims. In all, Dahmer killed 17 people, mostly young men of color.

John Wayne Gacy

  • A construction worker known by his suburban neighbors as outgoing, John Wayne Gacy was involved in politics and even acted as a clown for birthday parties.

Gacy came under suspicion in 1978 when a 15-year-old boy, last seen with him, went missing. That wasn’t the only time families of missing boys had pointed fingers at Gacy, but it was the first time authorities took them seriously.

Soon after, a search warrant granted police access to the Gacy home, with the smell of nearly 30 bodies buried in a four-foot crawl space under his home.

He was convicted of 33 counts of murder, with additional counts of rape and torture, and was executed by lethal injection in 1994.

People Are Self Centered And Out For Themselves

Consequently, many people are only concerned about themselves and their well-being. Thinking only about the things they want and do not consider the needs of others.

These people are largely responsible for our world’s brokenness because they are only concerned about making things easier for themselves.

Conclusion

It is up to us as individuals to make a difference in this broken world. We must make a conscious effort to care for the environment, help people in need, and make good choices in our everyday lives.

We can make this happen by rising above the chaos and choosing to do something extraordinary.

Think about it…
