Art A Vision Of Life!

What is possible in art becomes thinkable in life.

Brian Eno

“In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can imagine.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Art

Let me break it down for you in a way that even a rock can understand. Art is not just about pretty pictures and sculptures, folks. Art is a powerful tool for self-expression and connecting with others.

Plus, it’s an excellent way to process your emotions, understand your surroundings, and view life uniquely. Trust me; you’ll feel more alive than ever before!

In fact… it’s like wearing glasses that let you see life from a different perspective and make you feel alive. Since the dawn of time, art has played a significant role in human society.

It’s been used for cultural exchange, education, and expression. And guess what? It’s not just for adults. Art is equally important for children too.

It helps them develop self-confidence and creativity while teaching them about the world around them. So, parents, take note and expose your kids to the wonderful world of artful creations.

Still not convinced about the importance of art in our lives? Let me give you two examples that will knock your socks off.

It can help you relax and reduce stress. It’s like a mini-vacation for your mind. And if you’re feeling lonely, art can be your new best friend.

As adults, art can play a big role in our lives. Don’t believe me? It’s a great way to meet new people and connect with like-minded individuals. So, go ahead and make it a part of your life.

ArtJust think about how it can inspire creativity and bring joy to our everyday routines. Art is no joke, my friends!

It can help us unwind, de-stress, and connect with our inner child. So embrace your inner artist and let art play a starring role!

ArtOnly art penetrates what pride, passion, intelligence, and habit erect on all sides – the seeming realities of this world.

There is another reality, the genuine one, which we lose sight of. This other reality always sends us hints, which we can’t receive without art. Proust calls these hints our “true impressions.”

The true impressions, our persistent intuitions, will, without art, be hidden from us, and we will be left with nothing but a ‘terminology for practical ends’ which we falsely call life.

— Saul Bellow, on science and art from his Nobel lecture in 1976.

A New Day: Reasons Why Every Day Is A Gift!

A new day
Sunrise with peonies

The sunrise is a sign of a new day

The sunrise brings more than just the promise of a new day. It brings a sense of awe, wonder, and infinite possibilities. Watching the sun slowly rise in the sky is an experience that brings a feeling of optimism and hope.

The sunrise is a reminder to make the best of the day and to work hard. It is an opportunity to start anew and to start fresh. Take the good from yesterday, leave the bad, and make something of these precious 24 hours. The sunrise is a sign to take a break and appreciate nature’s and life‘s beauty, no matter how small.

With a new day and a new sunrise comes new opportunities, new possibilities, and new adventures. The sun rises for us to be inspired and take action to turn our dreams into reality.

A new day means new opportunities!

  • Every day offers more chances for us to grow and pursue our dreams.
  • It is an opportunity to start over and to build the life we want.
  • Starting the day with optimism, enthusiasm, and energy will bring more success stories and progress.
  • A new day means new opportunities to live intentionally, to choose what we focus on and our actions.
  • Each day is an opportunity to make connections, learn, and contribute to others. It is a chance to turn our dreams into reality.
  •  Welcome to a new day, a wonderful opportunity to creatively make the best of these 24 hours.

Today is a day to make memories

Every day is a special one that allows us to make life-long memories. As the saying goes, “The best things in life are the people you love, the places you’ve seen, and the memories you’ve made along the way.”

Making memories is an important process in shaping and living our life; through different experiences and activities such as traveling, reading and studying, joining a class or a club, or simply spending time with family and friends.

So make the most of your day and capture every moment as if it were your last. Remember, time is fleeting, and memories have no expiration date.

Be grateful for the little things!

It is easy to turn a blind eye to life’s simple pleasures; however, these little things add so much value to our days.

When we feel overwhelmed with life, it’s important to step back and focus on being grateful for the little things.

We often take the little things for granted, but each moment has something new to offer, no matter how minuscule they may seem.

Moreover, not worrying about the future and being at peace with the present could be considered one of life’s little pleasures.

Whether it’s a freshly brewed coffee in the morning, an afternoon walk with your dog, or catching up with family and friends, it doesn’t matter.

Each moment holds great pleasure and contentment potential if we take the time to recognize it.

The world is your oyster!

A new day
Oysters

The world is yours to explore and is filled with exciting opportunities. To make the best of your day and to get the most out of life, it’s important to recognize the power of possibility. Aim to try something new each day and use it as an opportunity to grow.

When fear and doubts creep in, remember to focus on the future and the success you are working towards, that bigger goal today, and push yourself out of your comfort zone.

Daring to do something different, especially if it is foreign and daunting, will give you the courage and strength to face any challenge life throws you.

Today is a new day; the world is your oyster to explore. Filled with amazing experiences and opportunities, each day has the potential to create meaningful memories.

Keep your chin up!

Never give up on your dreams and aspirations, no matter how challenging it may get. In between your everyday hustle, take a few moments to pause and contemplate.

You are the only one who can choose the trajectory of your life and determine what your future will look like. So live each day to the fullest and know that not achieving your goals all the time is part of the process.

Stay motivated and disciplined, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed.

Make the most of today!

The new day starts with a blank canvas, and your actions can create the most beautiful masterpiece of your life.

No matter what obstacles come your way, keep in mind that your efforts will eventually pay off.

While we have limited control over our circumstances, we have the power to choose how we respond to them.

Make the most of today by taking one small step at a time, and maybe you’ll be able to reach higher than you thought it was possible.

You do not have to wait for tomorrow to change your life; begin today. Surround yourself with people who will love and support you, and you will be amazed at how far you can go.

Every day is a new beginning!

In a world full of copies, be an original.
In a world full of copies, be an original.

Life comes in waves, up and down and around. Each day is a brand new start, and it is your choice to make the most of it.

Every morning is an opportunity to make a new beginning, reset and recalibrate yourself, and create beautiful memories.

There is something magical about fresh starts. We all have countless possibilities. It is up to us to decide how we use that time to make our lives meaningful.

Every day brings small victories and acts of kindness. No day is the same, but they all have the power to introduce joy into our lives.

Choose to exploit every day as a new beginning and grab the opportunity to be a better version of yourself.

There is never a better time to start working on your future and creating a life you love.

Don’t take today for granted!

Life can be full of surprises. While it’s important to enjoy today and every moment, it’s also important to remember that each day is a blessing – an opportunity to make the most of everything life offers.

Too often, we become complacent with the everyday monotony and forget how fortunate we are to wake up each morning and be able to do something unique and meaningful.

Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, so it’s important to ensure we don’t take today for granted because it could be gone tomorrow.

Live life to its fullest every day, and never forget to thank God for the gift of life.

Cherish every moment

We live in a time-poor world, and our lives have become so busy and disorganized that often, we find ourselves throwing away moments as if they were paper — never to be seen again.

Life goes by too quickly for us to take for granted a single moment. That’s why cherishing every moment, whether of joy or sadness, is important.

Every moment has something to offer — a lesson to be learned, a memory to cherish, or a period of reflection.

Life is beautiful!

Life is beautiful, and every day is a gift – though not all gifts are equally worth it. Despite the occasional dark moments of life, we must step back and pause to appreciate life’s beauty.

We should savor the little joys in life, for those little joys can help sustain us in difficult times. Life is a treasure trove of possibilities and opportunities if only we can be brave enough to seize them.

Let us not waste this precious gift and make the most out of it.

Seize the day

Time passes quickly, and life is too short, no matter how cliche it sounds. So, if you want to take advantage of all that life has for you, seize the day – every day!

You know what they say – “you snooze, you lose.” That’s why making the most of each moment is so important.

Conclusion

Life is beautiful, and every day is a gift. Whether the day was full of good or bad moments worth remembering or moments to forget, these are all part of the experience that makes life so special.

We are all on our journey; each day can be a new opportunity to learn and grow.

Life is full of possibilities, and new opportunities can be opened anytime. So, take each day, believe in yourself, and maximize your talents and abilities. Live your best life and enjoy the journey.

Thanks for reading!

Cynicism

Cynicism Can Ruin Your Life…Don’t Let It!

Cynicism

Cynicism Can Ruin Your Life…I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but the world is pretty fu*ked up…right now. People are so damn cynical, and it seems like nobody can agree on shit.

Meantime, if you’re constantly letting the state of the world get you down, it can be tough to enjoy life.

Because…Cynicism can get the best of you…I know it has happened to me. There’s something to be cynical about everywhere we look these days.

From the news to our social media feeds, talking about the bullshit, escaping from the mouths of idiots, it can be tough as hell not to get sucked into a vortex of negativity.

In our everyday life…we all know that one person. The one who is always negative and cynical about damn everything.

In fact…you may even be that person yourself from time to time. But did you know that cynicism can ruin your life? It’s not just a personality trait but a mental health disorder.

But before you know it, your whole life has been hijacked by cynicism, and you’re left feeling bitter and disillusioned.

So how can you avoid this trap and keep your life from being destroyed by cynicism? Read on for my tips!

1. What is cynicism, and how can it affect your life?

Cynicism is a state of mind where you doubt the sincerity of people’s actions and motives. It can make you suspicious and mistrusting, leading to social isolation.

While cynicism may benefit certain situations, overall, it can harm your life and relationships. This post will explore what cynicism is, what causes it, and how to deal with it.

2. The dangers of cynicism and how it can lead to negative thinking patterns…

Once upon a time, a little girl was incredibly cynical. She thought that the world was entirely against her, that people only did things to hurt her, and that life was one big conspiracy.

This little girl gradually stopped trying in school, work, and relationships. And as she withdrew further and further into herself, she became more and more unhappy. Unfortunately, this is not just a storybook tale – it’s a danger of cynicism.

We have all been there. That moment is when we are confronted with something negative, and our initial response is to feel cynicism creeping in.

It can be hard to fight off, especially when it seems like the world around us is just one big mess. But before you know it, that cynical attitude has taken over, leading to a spiral of negative thinking.

3. How to identify cynicism in your own life and work to change it

Cynicism. We’ve all been there. It’s that voice in your head that tells you everything is pointless, nothing ever works out, and everyone is just out to screw you over.

But here’s the thing: cynicism is toxic and can prevent you from being happy, successful, and fulfilled professionally and personally.

4. Strategies for developing a more positive outlook on life

When faced with cynical people day in and day out, it can be challenging to maintain a positive outlook. At the same time, developing such an outlook is vital for maintaining our well-being and those around us.

Various strategies can help us cultivate a more positive mindset, including mindfulness exercises, developing gratitude habits, and leaning into discomfort.

For starters, practicing mindfulness techniques like meditation or journaling can help us to better observe our thoughts and reactions without getting caught up in them.

By acknowledging our negative thoughts while letting them pass by without judgment or resistance, we can start to neutralize their impact on our moods and emotions.

Another important strategy for developing positivity is cultivating gratitude habits through writing thank-you notes or intentionally focusing on the good things in our lives.

By actively acknowledging the good things around us, we can help to rewire our brains to recognize all of the wonderful aspects of life, even during tough times.

Finally, one of the most effective ways to overcome cynicism is to lean into it. Frequently, resisting adversity only increases its power over us; facing difficult situations, head-on may find that they are not nearly as bad as we had initially anticipated.

With patience and practice, we can transform our negative outlook into a more optimistic one that will serve us well both now and in the future.

5. Ways to maintain your positive attitude in the face of negativity from others

One way to maintain a positive attitude in the face of negativity from cynical people is to remember that their negative outlook is not a reflection of you or your attitude. It is important to understand that other people’s thoughts and opinions are their own and do not define who you are or how you choose to see the world.

Another tactic can be reframing negative statements or actions as opportunities for growth and learning. Rather than letting cynicism bring you down, use it as a chance to improve and strengthen your positive mindset.

Lastly, surround yourself with positivity in all aspects of your life – from the people you spend time with, the media you consume, and the activities and hobbies you enjoy. Negativity can easily spread, so filling your life with positivity can help counteract any cynicism you may encounter.

Remember that your attitude is ultimately a choice, so make the conscious decision to choose positivity daily; at the end of the day, it’s not worth investing energy into those who bring negativity into your life. Focus on spreading positivity and good vibes instead!

Conclusion

As much as we might want to deny it, we have a little cynicism running through our veins. It’s human nature to be skeptical and doubtful at times – but that doesn’t mean we have to let it ruin our lives.

If you are surrounded by cynical people or consumed by negative thoughts, take a step back and reevaluate your situation.

Life is too short to waste time on things that don’t make you happy. So cut ties with the naysayers, distance yourself from the negativity and live your life the way YOU want to.

And if all else fails, remember: eventually, even the cynics will come around… maybe. Thanks for reading! Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more content like this in the future.

Why is it so hard

The Wondrous You Running Away!

The Wondrous You

The wondrous you… don’t want to deal with your problems, so you run away from them instead. While you get a lot of validation from your friends for doing so, it doesn’t make things any easier.

In fact, it just makes things harder in the long run. In most cases, you often feel like running away whenever you are confronted with a problem…but why?

Are you afraid of how it might change your life or what others might think about you if they discover it?

But in doing that, you neglect the fact that there is always a solution to every problem, and running away never solves anything.

Meanwhile, running away seems like a quick fix, but you can’t run away from the problems forever.

Anywho…Why Do You Run Away From Your Problems Anyway?

Running away is easy for most people, but in the end, you realize that they can’t run away from the problems forever. Why?

Instead of accepting them and trying to fix them, you choose to ignore them and hope that they go away.

Last but not least, you run away from your problems when you get your ass in a sling…to avoid facing the challenging aspects of life.

That is to say. You want your life to be a bed of roses that is always nice and easy. You run for the hills when a challenge pops up and hope it goes away.

You might be able to fool yourself for a little while by pretending that everything is okay, but the problems will not go away on their own.

In other words, you run away to avoid taking responsibility and own up to your colossal decisions.

In any case, here is some advice from a professional…

Leaving may be more comfortable, but staying put is where real growth happens.

Here are a few reasons to stop avoidance behavior:

  • Problems eventually catch up to you, and you’ll find yourself running into the same or similar situations.
  • It doesn’t teach you to grow or better yourself.
  • Facing problems teaches you perseverance, resilience, and strength.
  • You’ll gain a sense of pride and independence.

How Running Away Makes Your Problems Worse?

The wondrous you, can’t handle your problems? Fine. Run away then! You’ll feel so much better when there is no struggle at all;

It’s as though we are programming ourselves to fail whenever things get tough because if they don’t happen in one go, how will I know what works best for me?

You might think running away from your problems will make them disappear for good. But they will keep following you, no matter where your head is!

Be that as it may, they only come back with a vengeance when you run from your problems. What goes on around eventually comes right around to hit you where it hurts the most- in this case, literally!

The most important thing about dealing with problems is that they need to go away and how you deal with them…

The Importance Of Confronting Your problems!

To that end, you cannot run fast enough or hide for long…so confront the problems head-on.

Simply put…the moment you stop running away from your problems… is the same moment they start to diminish.

3 Ways To Stop Running And Face Your

The wondrous you
Running

Problems

Moreover, it takes strength and courage to end the cycle of running away and facing the problems you’re most afraid of.

Here is some advice to assist you in the process of stopping making tracks:

  • Stop being chicken-hearted: you must decide to stand up to your fears.
  • Gladly accept discomfort: many things in life are worth some discomfort. (Means take responsibility and own your self-made issues.)
  • Seek support and insight from others who have walked down the road you are walking down.

You have to take the first step towards solving your problems because they ain’t gonna solve themselves.

The wondrous you…Conclusion

By and large, there is nothing worse than running away from your problems, but there is also nothing better than confronting them head-on.

In reality, problems are inevitable, and it is impossible to live a life without them, so you might as well learn how to confront them.

Despite what you might think, running away doesn’t make your problems disappear but makes them worse.

Let me clarify…confronting your fears and problems is the only way to solve them.

You can't save a person from themselves.

You Can’t Save A Person From Themselves…So Don’t Try!

You can't save a person from themselves.
Crystal clear blue water where you can see the rocks below in beautiful lake Tahoe California

You can’t save a person from themselves. Despite everything, stepping away from someone you care about takes tremendous strength. (I learned this some time ago!)

In the same manner, it’s difficult to ignore their pleading, crying texts or the desperate voicemails they leave you.

Therefore, when you decide whether you’re willing to sacrifice your happiness for theirs… that’s when real courage comes into play.

Moreover, the hardest part about being an amazing friend is knowing when someone isn’t good for you.

Then again, the second hardest part is stepping away from them, cutting off contact, and limiting how often you see them – even if it breaks your heart to do it.

You might think it is worth staying friends with someone toxic towards you in the past. But, what’s gained from this?

Especially if they keep repeating old mistakes and adding salt to fresh wounds- cutting them out of your life will help stop these cycles from repeating themselves!

The pain may come now, but as time goes by, that should fade into an end to any toxicity forever – which amounts to winning a Golden Ticket!!

You’re a Human Being, Not a Tampon!

Remember that you are your person. You deserve to be treated like a human being, not a sponge used to mop up someone’s tears.

Also, if you’re constantly being sucked dry by someone demanding all of your attention, needing you to be there for them, and constantly needing you to fix their problems…then you need to ask yourself: Are you a human being or a tampon?

It’s important to draw boundaries and clarify that you aren’t there for someone to use and abuse. After all, you aren’t a sponge for them to mop up their tears, and you aren’t a Band-Aid to fix their problems.

You’re a person, and you deserve to be treated like one and with respect. You deserve not to have to clean up someone else’s messes. Nor do you deserve to mop up someone else’s tears and have them drain you dry in the process.

You can't save a person from themselves.
Subtle woman’s form in an unhappy pose double exposed with a monochromatic paint splatter photographic effect

Don’t Try to Save Someone Who Doesn’t Want to Be Saved.

In any case, you can’t save someone who doesn’t want to be saved, and you certainly can’t fix their problems or heal their broken hearts if they don’t want to be fixed or healed.

In like manner, it’s unfair to you; it’s unfair to them and your relationship with them. Because toxic friendships often come with unhealthy expectations.

Such as, a toxic friend might expect you to know what to say and how to fix their problems when you have no idea what to say or how to fix their issues

That’s why you need to nip it in the bud ASAP. A toxic friend might expect you to be there for them when you don’t want to be around them or when you’re busy doing something else.

Let’s be honest: You might feel like you must constantly talk to them and be there for them when they’re constantly being hurtful.

You might even feel like you have to listen to them whine about their problems when they’re the ones who created those problems. But you don’t have to!

 Bottom line…

The one thing you can’t save someone from is themselves. So, don’t even try to!

In the meantime, letting go of toxic friendships is important because you can’t control someone else’s actions or thoughts. You can only control your own!

When you walk away from someone who isn’t good for you, sometimes you have to decide to focus on those who enrich your life.

In short, it’s important to know when to end a toxic friendship so you can free up your time and energy for healthier relationships and friendships.
