Why We Need To Stop Comparing Ourselves To Other?

comparing ourselves to others

We’re all guilty of comparing ourselves to others at times. But it’s a dangerous game that often has us comparing our worst selves to our best.

We compare our current jobs to our previous ones, compare our friends to those who are successful and compare our relationships to the perfect ones depicted in books and movies.

Comparing ourselves to others is a natural and frequent part of human behavior. The problem arises when we get caught up in the never-ending pursuit of self-improvement.

Obsessing over our flaws and wishing we were someone else can be unending and exhausting. But there’s a much more productive way to compare ourselves to others.

Instead of focusing on what we don’t have, we should ask ourselves what we have. We should measure ourselves against our own standards and expectations and not against the standards of others.

The following are a few good reasons we need to stop comparing ourselves to others.

We’re All Just Different!

We’re all unique and different in our own special ways. Nobody else will fit into our lives and fill the roles we want them to.

We’re going to love and hate certain people, things, and experiences simultaneously. We all make mistakes, have blind spots, and have strengths that we will have to learn to appreciate and live with. The only way to eliminate the comparison game is to accept that we’re all different and nothing else.

We’ll Never Be Happy With The Results We Get!

We’re probably all guilty of setting unreasonable expectations for ourselves. We want to achieve the best results possible in our work and personal lives.

But the fact is that we will be unhappy with our results. Nobody is going to be perfect, and everybody makes mistakes.

We can’t expect to have a great relationship with our boss or get the promotion we want if we’re only looking at the results. We have to look at the process as well as the results.

We’ll Always Suffer From Comparisonitis.

We’ll never be able to get over our need to compare ourselves to others. We’ll always be plagued by comparisonitis.

The only way to get rid of it is to accept that we’re all different and nobody else will be as good as we want them to be or as bad as we want them to be.

We have to accept that we’re good enough the way we are and that we’ll make mistakes and learn from them. We also have to accept that we’ll never be perfect, and we won’t fiddle our way to happiness.

We’ll Always Fumble Through Life Without Knowing What To Do.

We’ll never be able to plan a smooth, consistent and productive path through life. We’ll always be fumbling through life without knowing what to do next.

We have to remember that we’re all going to make mistakes, and we’re all going to get it wrong sometimes. We have to remember to be patient with ourselves and give ourselves grace.

We shouldn’t compare ourselves to others who seem to know what they’re doing because we’ll never be like that. We should try to learn from everybody and everything we do, but we should never try to be anybody else.

Conclusion

The only person you should compare yourself to is you. You should never make yourself a slave to the comparisons of others because you’ll never be happy with the results, and you’ll always suffer from comparisonitis.

In the end, it’s important to remember that comparison is the thief of joy. It takes away our focus from what we have and who we are.

We can get so wrapped up in comparing ourselves to others that we forget to live in the present and enjoy our own lives.

When you fall down the rabbit hole of comparison, remember these wise words from Eleanor Roosevelt: “Comparison is the death of joy.” Let’s talk about it. What do you think?

Failed Inspiration…What 2 Do?

Failed inspiration…It’s been a while since I’ve written anything on here. I’m not sure what my reason is for the lack of posts, but I know Life has been busy.

Meantime, inspiration was hard to come by.

But recently, I was reminded that inspiration can be found in the little things. It might be a kind word from a stranger or a sunset over the water.

Maybe it’s something as simple as your favorite song coming on the radio.

Failed Inspiration…

Wherever you find it, take a moment to appreciate it. Because when you feel even a bit of inspiration, it can make all the difference.

You don’t need to wait for someone else to give you permission to be inspired. You can find bits of inspiration in your everyday Life – you just have to be open to it.

Remember that a little inspiration can go a long way when you feel low.

Here are some things that might help get you started:

1. Go on a memorable excursion. You can do several things, ranging from exploring a new part of town to visiting a nearby museum or taking a scenic hike.

When we change our surroundings, it can jump-start our creativity and help us see the world in new ways. Plus, getting out and about has the added benefits of fresh air and exercise!

2. Although positive thinking has many benefits, finding optimism 24 hours a day is a challenge.

Sadly, work, Life, and relationships are often stressful.

It’s sometimes a good idea to look outside for inspiration if you want to keep the flame of positivity burning inside you.

Overtime, I learned one of the best way to get inspired is to surround yourself with things that inspire you.

There is nothing more inspiring than seeing someone achieve their dreams in this world. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or even a stranger, watching someone pursue their passions and reach their goals is incredible.

Seeing others succeed also reminds us that anything is possible if we set our minds to it.

So next time you’re feeling lost or uninspired, take a moment to reflect on all the people in your Life who have achieved their dreams.

It might just be the motivation you need to get started on yours.

Failed inspiration…Bloom with grace wherever Life plants you.”

It’s perfectly natural to have moments where we don’t feel our best. But the good news is that there are always ways to turn things around.

So there you have it, tips to jump-start your creativity. I hope these help get your creative juices flowing and that you’ll share with us some of the great things you come up with.

How do you get inspired? What are your favorite sources of inspiration? I’d love to hear about them …Let’s talk about it in the comments below!

Why Steal A Full Box of Human Heads?

human head

Earlier this month, a box of human heads intended for scientific research was stolen from a medical truck in Denver.

According to KVDR, someone broke into the truck and stole the box of human remains with a dolly.

The crime took place in Denver’s leafy Central Park neighborhood.

Isaac Fields, a resident, told the station the situation was “pretty shocking.”

Fields, who was walking his dog, said, “I guess there isn’t much strange stuff going on around here, but you never know.”

“Wow! I would have been so terrified.”

According to its website, the blue-and-white box and its contents were connected to “Science Care,” a program that “helps future generations through improved scientific research and education.”

The police were seeking the suspect in the bizarre crime.https://nypost.com/2022/03/05/box-of-human-heads-stolen-in-denver/

This story is strange…

We all have our personal beliefs about what stealing is. Some people believe that stealing is out of the Question and morally wrong.

Others believe that stealing is justified in certain circumstances, but it can never be done without consequences.

Why do people steal things?

But, with so many opinions on this subject, why do we care at all?

Some steal things because they are bored and get a thrill trying to commit the perfect theft.

Others steal things because they need them, and there’s no way for them to get their hands on them otherwise.

The truth is, everyone has a different reason for stealing something, which leads me to the next question:

Why in the hell …would anyone want to steal a box of human heads?

Why steal a full box of human heads?

People steal things for a variety of reasons.

But, while everyone has their reason for stealing, there is no answer to why anyone wants to steal a box of human heads.

Conclusionhuman head

Money, power, or something usually motivates people to steal valuable when they steal.

It could be for many reasons when a person steals a full box of human heads. It could sell them, save them for a future project, or even just because they’re weird.

The 3 Stages of Ignorance …How We Can Combat It?

IgnoranceIgnorance is the lack of knowledge. It’s an absence of information or awareness that can lead to misunderstandings or faulty judgments.

The more we know about something, the less ignorant we are about it.

The word ignorance has a negative connotation because it doesn’t mean lack of education (a person could be knowledgeable and still not know something).

Ignorance is often used in a pejorative sense to signify disapproval of someone’s beliefs, attitudes, or actions that do not align with one’s own.

In this post, I will show how there are three stages of ignorance and how to combat it.

The Three Stages of Ignorance

There are three stages of ignorance:

* Innocence

* Denial

* Apathy

Innocence is when you are unaware of the issue.

This stage is only temporary because natural curiosity will lead to the next step. Denial is when you refuse to see or recognize a problem.

This can be for personal reasons, such as denial of an addiction, or for political reasons, where people don’t want to face a truth against their values or beliefs.

Apathy is when you have become accustomed to the problem being around, so it’s not new anymore — this leads to complacency.

And it can also be due to indifference towards the issue at hand.

How to combat ignorance:

Ignorance is so pervasive in our society that it’s essential to combat ignorance in any way we can.

It’s not enough to stay away from ignorance because it will find a way inside us.

Below, I discuss three stages of ignorance and how to combat them.

The first step is understanding the three stages of ignorance:

-Unaware

-Uncomfortable

-Aware

The second step is understanding what “musts” are and how they contribute to ignorance.

A must is something that should be true even if it isn’t. For example, “you’ll never get a job without completing your degree.”

This could be true for some people but not for others. We should only believe what we know to be true.

The third step is realizing that we all have biases and actively working on them.

Getting rid of our biases will help us escape the cycle of ignorance and become aware of other perspectives and beliefs outside of our own:

-We all operate with some level of bias

-It’s possible these biases could lead us into dangerous behaviors or decisions

-Becoming aware of these biases will help us make better decisions

What can YOU do to combat ignorance?

It’s important to acknowledge that there are three stages of ignorance:

1) Unaware

2) Unwilling

3) Unable

In the first stage, a person is unaware of what is going on.

In the second stage, a person is unwilling to find more information.

In the third stage, a person cannot find out more information.

If we want to combat ignorance, we must start on the first stage and work our way to the last step.

1) If you want to help someone become aware of something and refuse your help, either ignore their refusal and do it anyway or stop trying altogether.

If you can’t miss it or don’t want to try at least, that means you’re not willing.

2) If someone asks for your help but can’t afford it, don’t charge them at all.

Donate your time and skills as an act of kindness without asking for anything in return.

3) If someone wants your help but doesn’t know how or where to get it, provide them with whatever they need if possible or point them in the right direction otherwise.

Conclusion

There are three stages in the process of ignorance:

-The first stage is when we are in the dark about the topic in question.

-The second stage is when we make up our own beliefs and conclusions about said topic.

-The third stage is when we continue to refuse to listen to arguments or evidence that disprove our own beliefs.

When it comes to combating ignorance, it is essential to be aware of these three stages. The first step is to get educated about the subject, the second is to consider all sides, and the third is to be open-minded about what you are reading.

BLINDNESS OF HEARTS AND VANITY OF MINDS

Mean And Hateful People…What To Do!

Mean and hateful peopleMean and hateful people…It can be hard to deal with them. You might have had a bad day, you might have had a long week, or maybe you just don’t have the energy to deal with them. However, when you make an effort to deal with them in the right way, the situation could actually improve. No one deserves to be treated poorly because of their words and actions. Here are some ways that will help you deal with mean and hateful people:

1) Don’t take it personally.

2) Step back and give yourself time to process the situation.

3) Try not to engage in any negative conversations with them.

4) Keep your emotions in check and avoid losing your temper.

5) Don’t allow them to control your mood or ruin your day.

Try not to take it personally.

It can be hard to deal with mean people.

Step back and give yourself time to process the situation.

It is usually a good idea to step back and give yourself time to process the situation. If you can, try to put as much space between you and the person as possible. If you are going to be facing him or her again soon, try to prepare for it in advance. Get your thoughts together and practice some positive affirmations that will help you stay calm. Remember, no one deserves to be treated poorly because of their words and actions.

Try not to engage in any negative conversations with them.

This is a good rule of thumb when dealing with anyone, not just mean and hateful people. You want to avoid letting them get under your skin and try to control how you’re feeling. Letting someone else affect your mood can be really draining and no one deserves that. It’s important not to engage in any negative conversation with the person you’re talking about. If they start trying to push your buttons or say something that’s rude or insensitive, then just try to disengage from the situation. This way you won’t become upset or let them have power over you which can be done by getting into an argument with them, which they might enjoy more than anything else.

Keep your emotions in check and avoid losing your temper.

One of the most important things to remember is to keep your emotions in check and avoid losing your temper. Sometimes, people are rude or hateful because they’re hurting inside. It might be hard for you to get past the mean words, but try not to get angry or lash out. Use this situation as an opportunity to remember why you do what you do. Remember that there are people who need your help and care, even if one person isn’t receptive.

Don’t allow them to control your mood or ruin your day.

One of the worst things that can happen is allowing these people to control your mood or ruin your day. If you’re having a bad day, what better way to make it worse than dealing with these types of people who are only looking for someone to put down?

It will be hard not to take them personally. You might think that they are hating on you personally, but usually these type of people are just hateful by nature. They will say all sorts of things about other people, but it doesn’t mean they are talking about you.

Conclusion

“Don`t let negative and toxic people rent space in your head. Raise the rent and kick them out!” – Robert Tew  Read more

It’s hard to deal with mean and hateful people. They say and do things that we might not always want to hear. But, there are things we can do to protect ourselves and still feel good about ourselves in the process.

We don’t have to respond to their negativity or give them the satisfaction of knowing they’ve gotten to us. There is a lot of power in knowing that we don’t have to take on the responsibility of their feelings and we don’t have to allow them to control our mood.

It’s not easy, but we owe it to ourselves and our mental health to take care of ourselves in the face of their repulsive behavior.

JUST BE YOURSELF!
