“Don’t let others box you into their idea of what they think you should be. A confined identity is a miserable way to exist. Be you and live free. Trust that in living true to yourself, you will attract people that support and love you, just as you are.”– Jaeda deWalt
I have decided that at this point …in my life, it is no longer necessary to impress anyone. You can either like me as I am…or leave me the hell alone; if you decide you don’t like me, it’s your loss …not mine. I will always be me.
The best advice you can give to someone is “Just be yourself.” But what if you don’t know who myself is? Even if you did, do you have the courage to follow them blindly into a dark room with no idea of what’s going on inside?
Moreover…wouldn’t it be better for me to pray that my selected self has some light-up shoes or something so that at least there’s a chance they know where they are going?
Let me tell you; it’s a huge deal! Being yourself means being your most authentic self, not just when people are watching but all of the time. It’s hard work and often uncomfortable, but once you get into the habit, it’ll become second nature and more accessible than ever before.

I’m not saying that putting on a mask is never good – especially when your skin is feeling dehydrated in the wintertime – but I am saying that we should all work towards embracing our true selves and accepting who we are.
