Giving An Act Of Emotional Sensitivity

“Your days are numbered. Use them to throw open the windows of your soul to the sun. If you do not, the sun will soon set, and you with it.”
― Marcus Aurelius, The Emperor’s Handbook

Giving
One of the exceptional emotional sensitivity in the world is giving. The positive energy is contagious. Subsequently, just one act of kindness can inspire others to go out and lay the groundwork for spreading happiness through giving.
The greatest gift of all is the ability to share our blessings; the ramifications of the act is what makes life so meaningful. However, in today’s world, some people tend to be very selfish and don’t want to show kindness toward someone that may be down. It’s sad because it is not always about the giving of money and material things.
The end result of giving is the fulfillment and a life of prosperity. There is a wise old tale that says, “The more you give, the more you will receive.” Over the years, I had made a habit of giving to others–even when it meant I would have less for myself or less time to do the things I needed to do.
Guess what? I did it anyway.

Before giving, the mind of the giver is happy; while giving, the mind of the giver is made peaceful; and having given, the mind of the giver is uplifted.
Buddha

Just think what the world would be like if there were more givers–than takers in the world; giving their all to aid in the creation of a better society.
People need to stand up and start adding value to other people’s lives by being of service and living selflessly. You get what you give. The good you put out into the world will return to you in overabundance.

“What does one person give to another? He gives of himself, of the most precious he has, he gives of his life. This does not necessarily mean that he sacrifices his life for the other—but that he gives him of that which is alive in him; he gives him of his joy, of his interest, of his understanding, of his knowledge, of his humor, of his sadness—of all expressions and manifestations of that which is alive in him.
In thus giving of his life, he enriches the other person, he enhances the other’s sense of aliveness by enhancing his own sense of aliveness. He does not give in order to receive; giving is in itself exquisite joy. But in giving he cannot help bringing something to life in the other person, and this which is brought to life reflects back to him.”

It was nothing but murder.

While the shooting happened back in February, a Georgia prosecutor recommend a grand jury consider charges only earlier this week, after a video of the incident was made public.

“That murder should be held to account and the murderer should as well,” said Abrams. “The way we get the justice we deserve is by electing people who believe we deserve that justice.”

Attorney Lee Merritt, who is representing the family, told CNN Sunday “the decision to rely on the citizen’s arrest statute is really a recent invention, prior to that they just simply said it was self defense.

” Merritt says now the men are trying to use the law to say they were trying to stop a crime.

“According to that law, you actually have to be observing the crime or be in the immediate knowledge of the crime.

” Merritt said. “The only thing they have ever said is … that Ahmaud stopped by a house that was under construction and he looked through the window.

,We don’t know if that happened or not, but even if that did happen that is not a felony that would invoke the citizen’s arrest statute that would make this allowable.

Two Black Men that shoots a White Person…

They would be sitting behind bars and not walking around. This was a classic case of  another African American man being subjected to this  kind of blind justice. For being BLACK. Their excuses are BULLSHIT.

They had no right to go after this young MAN…damn…damn…damn!

Interestingly, the empirical research on humility shows that this trait has great value. Humility has been linked with better academic performance, job performance, and excellence in leadership. Humble people have better social relationships, avoid deception in their social interactions, and they tend to be forgiving, grateful, and cooperative. A recent set of studies also shows that humility is a consistent predictor of generosity.1 People who are humble tend to be more generous with both their time and their money.
