Why We Need To Stop Comparing Ourselves To Other?

comparing ourselves to others

We’re all guilty of comparing ourselves to others at times. But it’s a dangerous game that often has us comparing our worst selves to our best.

We compare our current jobs to our previous ones, compare our friends to those who are successful and compare our relationships to the perfect ones depicted in books and movies.

Comparing ourselves to others is a natural and frequent part of human behavior. The problem arises when we get caught up in the never-ending pursuit of self-improvement.

Obsessing over our flaws and wishing we were someone else can be unending and exhausting. But there’s a much more productive way to compare ourselves to others.

Instead of focusing on what we don’t have, we should ask ourselves what we have. We should measure ourselves against our own standards and expectations and not against the standards of others.

The following are a few good reasons we need to stop comparing ourselves to others.

We’re All Just Different!

We’re all unique and different in our own special ways. Nobody else will fit into our lives and fill the roles we want them to.

We’re going to love and hate certain people, things, and experiences simultaneously. We all make mistakes, have blind spots, and have strengths that we will have to learn to appreciate and live with. The only way to eliminate the comparison game is to accept that we’re all different and nothing else.

We’ll Never Be Happy With The Results We Get!

We’re probably all guilty of setting unreasonable expectations for ourselves. We want to achieve the best results possible in our work and personal lives.

But the fact is that we will be unhappy with our results. Nobody is going to be perfect, and everybody makes mistakes.

We can’t expect to have a great relationship with our boss or get the promotion we want if we’re only looking at the results. We have to look at the process as well as the results.

We’ll Always Suffer From Comparisonitis.

We’ll never be able to get over our need to compare ourselves to others. We’ll always be plagued by comparisonitis.

The only way to get rid of it is to accept that we’re all different and nobody else will be as good as we want them to be or as bad as we want them to be.

We have to accept that we’re good enough the way we are and that we’ll make mistakes and learn from them. We also have to accept that we’ll never be perfect, and we won’t fiddle our way to happiness.

We’ll Always Fumble Through Life Without Knowing What To Do.

We’ll never be able to plan a smooth, consistent and productive path through life. We’ll always be fumbling through life without knowing what to do next.

We have to remember that we’re all going to make mistakes, and we’re all going to get it wrong sometimes. We have to remember to be patient with ourselves and give ourselves grace.

We shouldn’t compare ourselves to others who seem to know what they’re doing because we’ll never be like that. We should try to learn from everybody and everything we do, but we should never try to be anybody else.

Conclusion

The only person you should compare yourself to is you. You should never make yourself a slave to the comparisons of others because you’ll never be happy with the results, and you’ll always suffer from comparisonitis.

In the end, it’s important to remember that comparison is the thief of joy. It takes away our focus from what we have and who we are.

We can get so wrapped up in comparing ourselves to others that we forget to live in the present and enjoy our own lives.

When you fall down the rabbit hole of comparison, remember these wise words from Eleanor Roosevelt: “Comparison is the death of joy.” Let’s talk about it. What do you think?

Failed Inspiration…What 2 Do?

Failed inspiration…It’s been a while since I’ve written anything on here. I’m not sure what my reason is for the lack of posts, but I know Life has been busy.

Meantime, inspiration was hard to come by.

But recently, I was reminded that inspiration can be found in the little things. It might be a kind word from a stranger or a sunset over the water.

Maybe it’s something as simple as your favorite song coming on the radio.

Failed Inspiration…

Wherever you find it, take a moment to appreciate it. Because when you feel even a bit of inspiration, it can make all the difference.

You don’t need to wait for someone else to give you permission to be inspired. You can find bits of inspiration in your everyday Life – you just have to be open to it.

Remember that a little inspiration can go a long way when you feel low.

Here are some things that might help get you started:

1. Go on a memorable excursion. You can do several things, ranging from exploring a new part of town to visiting a nearby museum or taking a scenic hike.

When we change our surroundings, it can jump-start our creativity and help us see the world in new ways. Plus, getting out and about has the added benefits of fresh air and exercise!

2. Although positive thinking has many benefits, finding optimism 24 hours a day is a challenge.

Sadly, work, Life, and relationships are often stressful.

It’s sometimes a good idea to look outside for inspiration if you want to keep the flame of positivity burning inside you.

Overtime, I learned one of the best way to get inspired is to surround yourself with things that inspire you.

There is nothing more inspiring than seeing someone achieve their dreams in this world. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or even a stranger, watching someone pursue their passions and reach their goals is incredible.

Seeing others succeed also reminds us that anything is possible if we set our minds to it.

So next time you’re feeling lost or uninspired, take a moment to reflect on all the people in your Life who have achieved their dreams.

It might just be the motivation you need to get started on yours.

Failed inspiration…Bloom with grace wherever Life plants you.”

It’s perfectly natural to have moments where we don’t feel our best. But the good news is that there are always ways to turn things around.

So there you have it, tips to jump-start your creativity. I hope these help get your creative juices flowing and that you’ll share with us some of the great things you come up with.

How do you get inspired? What are your favorite sources of inspiration? I’d love to hear about them …Let’s talk about it in the comments below!

Failure is an Opportunity To Succeed!

FailureFailure is an Opportunity To Succeed!

In life, we are going to face failures. It’s inevitable. However, how we respond to those failures will determine our success or failure.

Are you struggling with a setback? Do you feel like you can’t seem to get over it no matter how hard you try?

Well, I have some good news for you: there is a way to overcome any setback, and it’s actually pretty simple.

You just need to get up and teach yourself. Yes, that’s right – by learning more about what caused your setback and how to recover from it, you can empower yourself to move on.

And the great thing is that this approach works for any setback, big or small. So don’t let your past failures keep you down – start teaching yourself today!

So don’t be afraid of failure, because it’s not an option! It’s an opportunity to learn, become stronger, and do better next time.

Remember, success is not defined by how many times you fall down but by how many times you get back up!

So keep going no matter what life throws your way, and never give up on your dreams! Failure is not an option; it’s an opportunity to succeed!

The best way to overcome setbacks…Failure

No one is immune to setbacks – life has a funny way of throwing curveballs when we least expect it.

But even though we can’t control everything that happens to us, we CAN control how we react to it.

It’s up to you whether you let it defeat you or make you stronger. “Focus on what you can control” is the hardest thing about dealing with a setback.

One of the most important life skills you can learn is how to deal with setbacks. Everyone makes mistakes, and the key is to learn from them and move on.

Failures teach you what doesn’t work, so you can focus on what does.

With a positive attitude and a determination to succeed, you can overcome any obstacle in your way. So don’t give up – keep trying until you reach your goals!

My failures have taught me it is important to keep a positive attitude and use every failure as an opportunity to learn.

Don’t let them pass you by.

When facing a failed attempt, consider your past failures.

This will help you identify what went wrong and improve next time. You must also be willing to fail again and again to improve.

Let go of the past and start fresh.

When we face a setback, it’s important to let go of the past and start fresh. Rather than forgetting what went wrong, learn from it and try again in a more positive light.

Moreover, it is important to remember that failure is not a permanent state; we can overcome it with hard work.

Embrace your abilities and have faith in yourself

It is the perfect opportunity to get back up and start over when faced with a setback. However, you need to have faith in yourself and your abilities to succeed.

Furthermore, it is your belief that you can make a difference. Without faith in yourself, you won’t succeed.

Do not lose sight of your ability to succeed.

There is nothing wrong with failure. It is an opportunity to learn. Remind yourself that you can succeed. When you hit a snag, you can get up and try again.

Succeed tomorrow by taking action today!Failure

Conclusion

  • It’s never too late to get back on track.
  •  Allow yourself to let go of the past, start fresh, and believe in yourself.
  •  Never doubt your abilities.
  • Take action today and succeed tomorrow.

Women’s History… Della Hayden Raney Jackson

Women's history As we celebrate Women’s History Month this March, let us remember all the incredible women who have made history.

From scientists and entrepreneurs to artists and activists, these women have blazed trails and broken barriers, making the world a better place for all of us.

One such person is >>Della Hayden Raney Jackson Dates: 1912-1987 African American Trailblazer and WWII Nurse.

She was born in Suffolk, Virginia, on January 10 to George H and Willie V Raney.

By 1937, she had graduated from North Carolina’s Lincoln Hospital School of Nursing in Durham.

Women’s history… Della’s Story

After graduation, she worked as the operating room supervisor at Lincoln Hospital.

When the United States entered World War II, Nurse Raney was eager to serve her country and applied for a position in the Army Nurse Corps.

Initially, her application was denied due to her race. Until 1941, the Army only employed white nurses.

Despite this rejection, Nurse Raney persisted in becoming an Army nurse.

The American Red Cross had to endorse a nurse’s military service application.

 She wrote in 1983:

“When I entered nursing more than forty years ago, it was serious business with me.

It was a commitment to give my life for a cause – that of caring for those who were ill … It was this strong desire to elevate my profession led me to volunteer for military service in 1940 with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.

Getting accepted by the Red Cross was difficult for graduates of black nursing schools in the south.

Still, I persisted in overcoming this barrier to the point of writing Miss Mary Beard.

She was director of nursing for the American Red Cross, telling her of my desire to serve my country and practice my profession.

Miss Beard replied with my membership card, certificate, and pin.”

Della’s Life and Times

Della Raney became known as “Maw Raney” to the nurses she supervised at Tuskegee Army Air Field during World War II.

As she was the principal chief nurse to up to 20 nurses at any one time during her almost three-year tenure on the base before being promoted to captain.

Inaddition, she had to lead these women into a career where they would be discriminated against because of their gender and race.

The Making of a Trailblazer women’s history

Della Rainey Jackson graduated from Lincoln Hospital School of Nursing.

She was the first African-American nurse to answer the call for nurses in World War II.

She entered service at Fort Bragg in April 1941 and was later transferred to Tuskegee Army Flying School in March 1942.

Lieutenant Rainey was the first African-American nurse to be promoted to chief nurse and the first to be in charge of an army hospital.

She received her doctorate from Columbia University.

Why Steal A Full Box of Human Heads?

human head

Earlier this month, a box of human heads intended for scientific research was stolen from a medical truck in Denver.

According to KVDR, someone broke into the truck and stole the box of human remains with a dolly.

The crime took place in Denver’s leafy Central Park neighborhood.

Isaac Fields, a resident, told the station the situation was “pretty shocking.”

Fields, who was walking his dog, said, “I guess there isn’t much strange stuff going on around here, but you never know.”

“Wow! I would have been so terrified.”

According to its website, the blue-and-white box and its contents were connected to “Science Care,” a program that “helps future generations through improved scientific research and education.”

The police were seeking the suspect in the bizarre crime.https://nypost.com/2022/03/05/box-of-human-heads-stolen-in-denver/

This story is strange…

We all have our personal beliefs about what stealing is. Some people believe that stealing is out of the Question and morally wrong.

Others believe that stealing is justified in certain circumstances, but it can never be done without consequences.

Why do people steal things?

But, with so many opinions on this subject, why do we care at all?

Some steal things because they are bored and get a thrill trying to commit the perfect theft.

Others steal things because they need them, and there’s no way for them to get their hands on them otherwise.

The truth is, everyone has a different reason for stealing something, which leads me to the next question:

Why in the hell …would anyone want to steal a box of human heads?

Why steal a full box of human heads?

People steal things for a variety of reasons.

But, while everyone has their reason for stealing, there is no answer to why anyone wants to steal a box of human heads.

Conclusionhuman head

Money, power, or something usually motivates people to steal valuable when they steal.

It could be for many reasons when a person steals a full box of human heads. It could sell them, save them for a future project, or even just because they’re weird.
