NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS

Never give upWe should never give up on dreaming. Why? Because without dreams what  would life be like…if we have nothing to look forward too? Mine you now dreams are what gives you a purpose in life.

Sometimes we might fail the first time attempting to bright a dream to life and we just give up without even trying again.

Over the years I’ve dreamed about so many things that I wanted to do; for example, I wanted to become a doctor. Well that’s as far as I got with that dream. Circumstances and nobody to turn to for support, I gave up on that dream.

My next dream was to go into the military. Well I made the first step I went to an Air Force Recruitment Office took a series of tests and failed. Guess what I never tried again.

From that point on I was disheartened because there were so many obstacles and barriers blocking every little thing. So, I just went about finding my way in a world that was full of mean and hateful people.

I GAVE UP ON MY DREAMS TEMPORARILY

Luckily, I had the determination and new dreams to bring to life. Such as…becoming a wife and mother of no more than two children.  Girls are what I wanted. Growing up the oldest in a family of ten kids…six of them hard-headed boys.  I just made the decision I didn’t want any.

A funny thing happened, at 21 years old I got married.  Twenty-two had my first daughter, them at twenty-four I had my second daughter.  That was it…as life would have it I couldn’t deliver them naturally. See for reasons unknown I only dilated 4 centimeters with the first and  0 with the second after hours of being in labor.

Moving forward...I did accomplish my dream of going to college and becoming a supporter of this country.  I got a degree in Business management and spend 25 years working for the Federal Government. It’s never too late, all you have to do is try and never give up!

Overcoming Fears Of Meeting COVID19

OVERCOMING FEAR
Overcoming fears–yesterday was my first time going back into the dentist’s office for a cleaning? At first, I was hesitant, wondering what the chances of coming into close contact with someone – that refuse to practice social distancing – or wearing a mask.

So, to calm down my fears, I picked up the telephone and called the office asking what procedures they had in place to prevent becoming in contact with other people.
Of course, I was given the necessary information to somewhat calm my fears. It is terrifying in today’s environment.

Especially when some people just don’t care to follow instruction—because it violates their rights, so they think.

What about everyone else? To really get past my fears, I looked to ways to do so.

Below is a summary of what I found in articles.

White Couple Goes Uncharged After Savagely Attacking Black Woman

To bring light to the stupidity of white people that seem to feel like its open season on black people …just because you want to do it.

That being the case…I want to say this WHAT THE FNK is wrong with you mindless ignorant ass people, attacking black people for no dam good reason. In case you don’t know, our lives do matter.
Despite what you may have been taught by your parents…being born white DOES NOT MAKE YOU THE SUPERIOR RACE. What does it give you the impression that you can do what you want without being held accountable?

That’s a troubling thought. You might not think so, but I certainly do. There have been to many black and brown people attacked, injured, and murdered by you.

Let’s get something straight right now, and not all black people are criminals, lazy, and looking for handouts. Bullshit!

Every individual has the right to be treated equally and with kindness. And let me be clear about something I am now just talking about the racist. I am talking about our black and brown people that share your views.

The article above is a repost from Essence magazine. It pissed me off how that couple felt the need to attach her, and the police do not take action!

I do believe that one day people will be able to look past the color of the skin, and only see the person for who they are.

Finally,
No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
