Why do people kill themselves?Poverty

We often think of suicide as a choice made by people who are depressed. There are many reasons why someone would commit suicide.

  • Some people kill themselves because they don’t want to live without their significant other anymore.
  • Others kill themselves when they have nothing left worth living for.
  • The most common reason for suicide is the feeling of hopelessness.

It’s easy to feel hopeless in a world …where we see so much negativity and pain.

However, it’s important to remember that it’s not just those with depression or mental illness who feel this way; everyone could be at risk for this feeling.

What are the effects of suicide in society?

The effects of suicide in society are as varied as the people who have committed it.

It’s essential to understand why someone would commit suicide and understand what life is like for those who have experienced it.

Suicide is a tragedy that cannot be denied or ignored.

When someone commits suicide, their loved ones are left behind to deal with their grief and pain.

Families and friends must also take care of any children who need help or support after witnessing their mother or father’s death by suicide.

In the aftermath of suicide, loved ones are left to deal with their grief and pain.

Families and friends need to assist children who have witnessed their mother or father’s death.

My sister… knew she had a limited time left here, signed a power of attorney to me on her death bed granting me access to her son…this was in February 2010.

For the next six and half years…I saw my nephew struggle with depression after the death of his mother when he was ten years old.

When his father was killed in a car accident, he was a year old. He was angry…because he had no living parents, wondering what would become of him.

Because of this, he felt unwanted and unloved.

He lived with my family until he was 17 years old. During this time, he was going to a therapist and a psychologist.

It’s been 12 years since her death, and her son is a grown man still dealing with his emotional issues surrounding the death of his mother.

I learned from these experiences that a person has got to accept and want help for their mental health issues. At a point, all you can do is stand by

Being Black in America…The Struggles!

Civil rightsBeing black in America…America is a country of diverse people. Many people come from different cultures and ethnicities, but how does this affect the day-to-day lives of black Americans?

  • The answer is complicated.
  •  Many issues affect being black in America.
  • A big one is a racism

Racism has been present in our society since its inception; it started with slavery and has continued to be an issue today.

The effects of racial profiling and discrimination can take a toll on your mental health and well-being.

One way you can fight against racism and continue to live your life without being discouraged by it is by being proud of who you are! Here are some ways to do just that!

What is racism?being black in america

Racism is defined as the belief that one race, usually the white race, is superior to others. The first use of “racism” can be traced back to 1902 in novelist Jack London.

Racists believe that their race is better than another, so they discriminate against and prejudice people who are not part of their race.

Being Black in America…The effects of racial profiling!

Racial profiling is a constant issue of being black in American. Many have to experience the humiliation of being racially profiled and then told they can’t do something or go somewhere simply because of the color of their skin.

It’s even worse when it happens often and at the hands of people, you know, like police officers in your neighborhood.

Racial profiling can take a toll on your mental health and well-being, but there are ways to fight back against it!

The effects of discrimination!

and Being Black in America…

Racism can harm your mental health and well-being, as it influences how you live your life

If you’ve ever experienced discrimination or racism, you’re not alone.

Many black Americans have been affected by these issues. One way you can fight against racism and continue living your life without being discouraged is to…

  • Be proud of who you are!· being black in america
  • Fight for equality.

You may experience discrimination or even harassment from others who don’t understand where you come from

Or how to treat people different from them. To combat this:

  • Stand up for yourself and demand equality for everyone involved in the situation.
  • This way, everybody feels respected and valued no matter their race or background.
  • · Take care of your mental health!

As previously stated, racism can seriously negatively affect your mental health.

  • One way to combat this is to do things that make you happy
  • take care of yourself mentally and physically!

To help diminish racism in America, we need people to understand why certain things are racist.

Mental health and well-being!Mental health

Racism is prevalent in America. It has been an issue since the beginning of our country, and it still is today. The effects of racism can take a toll on your mental health and well-being. One way to fight back against racism and continue living your life despite the stereotypes is by being proud of who you are!

Racism and being Black in America!

There are many parts of the black community that face racism and discrimination. It can be seen in the workplace, neighborhoods, schools, and more.

Be proud of who you are!

Being black in America means being proud of who you are no matter where you come from or what color skin you have.

It means refusing to let other people’s opinions shape your identity and what that means for the rest of your life.

Education and knowledge about race and culture!

The first step to fighting back against racism is educating yourself about the differences in race and culture.

Education and knowledge can help you understand how people experience the world differently.

One way to do this is by seeking out people’s opinions from different racial backgrounds.

Talk to your friends and family members from other ethnicities and ask them what it’s like living as a minority group in America.

Speak up for yourself!

It’s important to be vocal. One way you can fight back against racism is by being vocal in the face of it.

If someone says something racist, speak up and say you don’t appreciate their comment or behavior.

People will inevitably make ignorant comments, but you are making a statement when you respond and stand up for yourself.

You’re telling that person that their ignorance isn’t acceptable, and it’s not okay for them to make those types of comments towards people who look like you.

Conclusion

  • Racism is real and affects every area of your life.
  • You deserve to feel safe and respected and be given an equal opportunity to succeed.
  • The only way to make change happen is to speak up for yourself and others.
  • Don’t let fear stop you from fighting for what’s right.
  • Challenge the stereotypes you see on TV, in movies, and in everyday life.
  • Spread the word about the hard work and accomplishments of people of color.
  • Remember that you have the power to make the change.
  • You deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
  • The struggle is real, but so is the strength you possess when you stand up for yourself and others.

“I live in a castle, Tony! Alone. And rich white people pay me to play piano for them because it makes them feel cultured.

But as soon as I step off that stage, I go right back to being just another nigger to them.

Because that is their true culture, and I suffer that slight alone because my own people do not accept me cause I’m not like them, either.”

life isLife has a way of changing the ordinary into something extraordinary. Sometimes, in the process of growing up, you may feel like you can’t take any more change.

But then you meet someone, and your perspective changes again.

That is where life begins to make sense again. You see that change is just another part of life, not only something that happens to you but also defines who you are.

  • What is life?
  •  Is it real?
  • Do you have an idea of what the best life would look like for you?
  • How do we get it back?
  • Most importantly, how can we live our best life with all the questions surrounding us?

CONCLUSION

life isYour life is a book. It’s filled with thoughts, feelings, actions, and experiences that makeup who you are.

That being said, it’s also a story of sorts—a story with twists and turns that are constantly changing by the minute.

But even though this story changes every day, one thing remains your presence in it all.

In your journal, you can document the many chapters of your life and record any memories or anything else that’s worth remembering.

Your journal will serve as an eternal reminder to take time to reflect on your life.

Life is a Journey, not a Destination: Liv in the Moment!

life is

Life is a journey, not a destination. The most important thing to remember when living in the moment is that there is no such thing as a perfect life

Challenges will always arise, and people will attempt to bring you down and make your life harder than it needs to be.

You can still find good every day despite negativity and stress.

Keeping a focus on the present and not worrying about what might happen tomorrow and next week can be challenging.

Why living in the present is essential.

The key to living in the present is to not worry about what might happen tomorrow or next week to focus on what is happening now.

It is easier to live in the present when you live in the moment.

There’s no need to worry about what might happen in the future so that you can enjoy the present moment.

And when you live in the present, you feel better about yourself.life is

Distance makes it possible to enjoy the moment!

By enjoying the moment from a distance, you can accomplish this.

In other words, you don’t have to live your life indoors, but you do have to find fun things to do now.

  • Make new friends or learn a new hobby.
  • No matter where you are, you must find ways of staying positive and keeping yourself on track.
  • Another way is by not worrying about what might happen tomorrow or next week.

If you think about what might happen tomorrow, it will probably make tomorrow worse than it has to be and add more stress to your shoulders.

It would help if you focused on changing something good for yourself today so tomorrow will be better for you than today was.

life is

Your daily life can be peaceful when you find peace!

The day-to-day life of some individuals can be extremely stressful.

The little things in your life might make you frustrated or stressed, or you may feel worried about how you will survive the day or what else might happen.

Finding peace in your day-to-day life can help you live in the moment.

It may seem like every day is a struggle, but if you focus on what makes your life worthwhile, maybe it will get better.

Maybe tomorrow won’t be as hard as today because of something that happened today.

But if you focus on just being happy and doing the best you can, maybe tomorrow will be a better day than today.

Accepting change and moving forward is what it is all about!

Change is an inevitable part of life. There is no way to stop it from happening.

The changes you experience in your life will always be complex, but you must accept them and move forward.

Put the past behind you and focus on what you offer today.

Let go of yesterday’s and tomorrow’s events. Make this moment better than before by focusing on what is happening right now.

Conclusion!

The process of finding peace in your day-to-day life is ongoing.

By learning to live in the present, you will find more peace in your life.

As you learn to live in the present, you’ll be able to enjoy your journey instead of worrying about what might happen in the future.  read more

The Unidentified Boy in the Box – a True Crime Story

unidentified

An unidentified young boy’s body was discovered on the side of a road in suburban Philadelphia on Thursday, February 25, 1957.

In the description, the Boy in the Box was described as having blue eyes, a fair complexion, and medium to light brown crudely cut hair.

His face and body were covered in bruises;

Some experts believe the child may have spent 2-3 days or even 2 to 3 weeks in the box.

He was between the ages of four and six at the time. He remained unknown for more than fifty years.

As a result, the case was dubbed “The Boy in the Box.”.

Who is the unidentified Boy in the Box?

The Boy in the Box was a young boy found in a cardboard box on the side of the road in suburban Philadelphia.

At first, the police thought they would find the missing child identify or the murderer if someone reported the child missing.

However, this did not happen. There was no report of a missing child matching his description.

The case remains unsolved.

True Crime Story …The Investigation

The investigation into the Boy’s death was one of the most extensive in Pennsylvania history.

In 1957, Philadelphia police and FBI agents searched for clues about the Boy’s identity and tried to find his killer.

Case Evidence

  • The unidentified Boy’s hair was crudely cut and located throughout his body, indicating it was cut while he was deceased and naked or immediately before he died.
  • His hands and feet were wrinkled, indicating they were submerged in water for an extended time just before or after he died.
  • The child may have had a chronic eye ailment.
  • He had not eaten 2-3 hours before death.
  • He was wrapped in a faded flannel blanket made either in North Carolina or Quebec, Canada.
  •  It was also massed, produced, and shipped to multiple locations.
  • His esophagus contained a dark, brown residue, indicating he vomited shortly before death.
  • He was severely malnourished.
  • The cause of death was multiple blows to the head

The Discovery

The Boy was buried in a potter’s field next to Mechanicsville and Dunks Ferry Rd, and the tombstone read “Heavenly Father, Bless This Unknown Boy.”

In 1998,  his remains were exhumed and mitochondrial DNA extracted.

At Ivy Hill Cemetery, the Boy was reburied in a donated coffin on November 11, 1998.

A website was also launched to keep this Boy’s memory alive and to help generate new leads. The website is America’s Unknown Child.

An attempt was made to link this child to a relative by scanning it through a database. But, the mitochondrial DNA sequence was too small to produce an accurate match despite this.

Conclusion

The Boy in the Box case is one of the most haunting mysteries of the 20th century.

Some people in this world don’t care about taking the lives of others…even children.

For anyone to hurt or kill children…they are diabolical. When a child goes unidentified for 50 years, it is heartbreaking.

It’s as if he had been thrown out like trash. The case remains unsolved.
